It was disappointing to be forced to pay for a TiVo subscription to use recorder. Information in advertising was not clear on this. I was already receiving same channels with a good quality OTA antenna. I probably would have bought TiVo anyway if advertising had been clear and honest. system works good and was easy to set up.

A better way to watch TV! Record the programming and the skip those commercials while playing back your favorite shows. Be ready to have to get a cable card from your cable company. There also is a monthly fee to use the Tivo service. So far we're happy with the Tivo Bolt experience.

I love Tivo. This is the second Tivo I've had and they are by far the best option for recording shows. This box has streaming apps included. Easy set-up & operation. I have successfully cut the cord by using an HD antenna for local channels & Tivo for streaming/recording.

Replacement for an earlier model and just as easy to use with more features.

This TIVO delivers what is expected. Just be sure you have proper reception. We operate with a top of the line antenna, but if bad weather comes through you will not have your show recorded if reception is disrupted.

Very happy to have 4 tuners (i.e. tape 4 shows at once). VOX is a very nice addition. Took some concerted effort with Spectrum to get set up and some hiccups the first week, but it has settled in and doing very well. DEFINITE upgrade from the Spectrum standard equipment

Takes all of your free over the air stations and puts them on an on screen TV guide to find and watch or record your shows. Easy set up and it pulls all your series from other networks and organizes them

Great DVR and Fantastic user interface. Best on the market no doubt and a great price for a 4 tuner DVR. Only one minor annoyance is that the unit runs constantly and has this subtle high pitch whine to it. You won't hear it in a living room setting, but in the bedroom at night when trying to sleep in silence, its not good. Only thing I can think of is cheap components used (Fan) which then make me wonder about longevity. This noise is well documented on the support forums and Tivo responds by saying unplug and plug back in, which does nothing to resolve the noise. So as long as its not in a bedroom, you will be ok. So knocked off 2 stars for that miss by Tivo.

Much better than the previous model. The interface is cleaner and much faster. I find the vox button nearly useless though as, and maybe it's me, it doesn't understand me all the time. Overall I'm happy with my purchase.

It's a little cheaper than renting a DVR from cable companies, and you won't lose your recordings when you move which is nice. I took off a star because it keeps recording things in foreign languages when I don't watch anything like that. Recommended for me, my butt..

This DVR is the only product that BESTBUY carries that really works. I tries 5 different products on June 4. This product is the only OTA DVR that hooks up wireless to WI-FI. It works. I did not want to pay subscription fee, and I checked and I was paying more to COX. BREAK the cable connection and enjoy the benefit of DVR and all its functionality. TRUST me, this is the best that is out there.

It was a bit pricey, but overall lesser in cost over the rental fee you pay the cable company. Great picture, great user interface...does a great job!!

Replaced an older TiVo box so that we can watch in multiple rooms. Works as advertised and was relatively easy to transfer the cable card from our old box to this one. It is now integrated with lots of different streaming services so that if you are looking to watch an program, it will show you what is available on any streaming service you are subscribed. Voice search also works very well. Totally recommend if your cable company doesn’t offer a good DVR option or it is too expensive. (We purchase the lifetime subscription for these so over time it is cheaper than a cable company rental of DVR.)

Easy to use and set up, provides better picture than Box provided by cable company

We had one of the First Tivos when they first came out years ago. As times changed we eventually moved away from it and let it go. Very Sad Day. We finally found a Great Opportunity to bring TiVo back into our Lives and are so happy. Top thing we need to share: RESEARCH FIRST! There used to be only One TiVo. So you either got that one or didn't. There are a wide variety of Units now each with their own special Uses and Features. EX: Some work with Cable while others are only OTA (Over the Air or Antenna) units. Certain ones can connect to others via Network and some have Wifi. The Benefit is there's one that will best fit your needs. The Trick is it's very easy to get the wrong one and then be let down. So Again: RESEARCH FIRST and it will all be worth it.

This box is almost all you need. Great reception of broadcast channels and huge selection of apps. Only thing missing is iTunes. 4k streaming works really well. Voice activated search works across all your platforms. If using cable it needs a cable card but works very well. User interface is intuitive and superior to dvr supplied by our cable company. We cut the cable about a year ago and have all we need with broadcast channels and the apps. LOVE OUR TIVO!!!

Voice remote and Netflix on the remote are nice. I like recording 4 programs at once and skipping commercials.

The larger number of shows that can be recorded at one time is a big plus. The new home screen is a bit messy, I like the older one better.

We upgraded from a Tivo Premiere. I like almost everything about this model -- the remote works better, the interface is much faster (especially for Netflix), I like voice control. My only very minor complaint is that it's been hard to get used to the new menus.

It was easy to set up the Tivo Bolt and it works great. The interface isn't as good as prior versions which was more intuitive.
