Don’t waste your money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this coffee pot based on reviews and the fact that it stated it was a simple to use coffee pot and would make great tasting coffee! For the first few uses it was very simple! Then after a couple weeks it started spewing water EVERYWHERE. It would happen every three or four uses. I reached out to Bonavita several times and they are refusing to do anything. They asked for a video and I sent them several…they still refuse to do anything. I spent $150 for a coffee pot three months ago that is going in the garbage. Don’t waste your money on this coffee pot, purchase a Bunn instead.

Nice as long as it lasted

It made good cofee! but as of February 2021, there are hairline cracks in the plastic water reservoir. The brewing function stops partway through the cycle. It is no longer a brewer where you can hit the button and forget it. I am about to replace it -- with something else.

After three or four uses, it quits brewing before all the water is heated, requiring numerous restarts before all the water is used. Company instructions say to descale it when this happens, but I've had to descale it every few days using Dezcal. It's not worth the trouble.
