Modern day Silk Stalkings? No, not nearly as cheesy. Out of curiosity I started watching Bones Season 1 on a "not to be named" platform. After the first episode I was intrigued so I went out and bought it on DVD (I don't want to depend on wireless service to watch something). I was pleasently surprised. Not having watched either of the Buffy franchise series I'm afraid I had pre-conceived notions about actor David Boreanaz. Surprise! He can actually act. Good plots, good actors, good chemistry amongst the actors makes for a good series. If you are looking for an anthropological who dunnit this is for you. Downside is that you can only watch 3-4 episodes on a side per disc.

I bought this for my mom who loves this show. She was exceptionally happy with the present and there have been no problems with the DVD's. It works as expected and I cannot think of any cons of the product.

I never had the opportunity to watch Bones when it was live on television. But I decided to rent it to see if I liked it. Well, I loved it and now I'm in the process of buying all the dvd's. Great show.

Bones is one of my favorite TV series. I often miss some of the segments so I really like the opportunity to watch these DVD's whenever I can.

Bones is a pretty good show. Most of the characters are likable, and, at least in the first season, the forensic anthropology approach to crime drama adds a degree of novelty. I'm not sure it's a show I'd follow for 10 seasons, but the first is worth a shot.

If you are a Bones fan then you will want to see the show from its inaugural seeason.

The 1st season of a classic cop series. Love it. You should too.

I never got into this show when it first come out on tv back in 2005, i love David Boreanaz back when he was on Angel and Buffy, but I couldn't see him in this role. I initially purchased this dvd set for a friend who was in love with show. I started watching season 2 and i got hooked, i had to buy season one for myself. Yes everytime i watched it i wanted david to go all grrr... like on angel but i feel in love with the chemistry between him and Emily Deschnal. Great show, can watch it all the time, i recommend it to anyone who loves the CSI's and Without a Trace Shows. U don't know what u are missing!!!

As a relatively new "Bones" fan, I've been at the mercy of the order the shows appear in syndication so, though I love the series and have watched a LOT of episodes, including following the first-run ones, I hadn't developed a clear picture of the evolution of the characters over the course of the series. So I took advantage of a Best Buy sale to buy the first seven seasons together and don't regret a thing. Great show, excellent performances, outstanding chemistry among the actors. One quibble is once the FBI stud/"squint" relationship is established, David Boreanaz' portrayal of Seeley Booth seems to maintain a bit hidebound characterization somewhat longer than one might expect, but that's a minor issue.
