I bought this for my toddler to play with. She loves it. I still have to watch her though so she doesn't push down too hard. The pen is a little hard to detach and reattach, but that's minor. I also like that it came with flash cards to learn her ABCs.

This is a nice update for flashcards for young learners. Wish the pen response was darker

Bought it to teach my son to trace his letters. He loves drawing on it. I just wish it had somewhere to store all the cards when they aren’t in use

A great educational device for on the go and at home, that stimulates children who are beginning to identify letters and numbers. And for little ones who love to write and draw this is a good pad to keep them quiet. Upon picking up my item at the Ceasar's Bay Shopping Center, I did not appreciate the service there. Very disrespectful and lazy staff and one of the staff who was handling my pick up forgot to give me my id because she was all over the place. And this is not the first or second time I dealt with service like this at that Ceasar's Bay Best Buy.

The boogie board is a favorite toy and is easy to take with you.

If you've never used one of these, it's like a "drawing board" that can be erased by pushing a button. I don't know how it works, but the stylus, your fingernail, or almost any dense, narrow object can "draw" an image on the screen (it looks light green when you write) and when you push the button, the screen flashes for half a second and the screen returns to black. This particular product comes with a clear back, so you can see through it, and trace whatever you place under it. I tried tracing cartoon characters and other things on paper, but it didn't turn out that well because of the thickness of the item. However, for tracing the letters from the flash cards that come with the e-writer, it's fine, since the tracing doesn't need to be as precise. There's a stylus and cover that both attach to the e-writer, but they're a bit awkward to click on and off. The cover can be used so that the drawn image is not accidentally erased and it can be clicked onto the back to keep the flash card (or whatever can be slipped into that space) from moving around. I like the e-writer because it saves paper from being wasted when doing quick computations or sketches. It has a battery that will eventually run out, but I'm guessing it will last a long time because I don't see any screws to change the battery. The kids like to play with the Boogie Board, but they use it for free drawing more than tracing.

Easy to use and kids will love it. Very light to carry around.

Our son loves practicing his handwriting on this device. He is able to use the stylus with ease, and he loves seeing his marks on the board. Flashcards switch in and out with ease. The screen is completely erased with only one touch of the button, which he loves to do. I highly recommend this product to anyone, but especially for children struggling with fine motor coordination in regard to handwriting practice.

Its my own fault really. I tried this out in the store and was pretty impressed so I bought it to be used in the car. Its really difficult to see in lower light (like in a car).

Wife bought this for my granddaughter to help her learn to write her letters, she loves it. She keep it in her purse, pulls it out when granddaughter gets fussy. keeps her busy. great purchase

This has no built in light and is very difficult to see in low light environments. Bought for car trips but the lighting isn’t always right.

This is fantastic for kids who are starting to learn to write. They don't have to waste a ton of paper, it erases its self. Nice!!!

Got this for my wife as a stocking stuffer. She loves the little thing. Whats nice is you can even save you notes and recall them . Not ever worry about losing it in your pocket or accidentally tosing the note away.

Got these as Christmas gifts for 6 -8 year old girls. They love them. They use them daily.

The kids don't even use it for flash cards. They draw things and play games like pictionary with it.

Product is more exciting to practice writing letters and numbers than on a paper writing pad.
