I bought two of these phones and they both have touchscreen issues, one worse than the other. The issue was straight out of the box, before any software was installed. I contacted Motorola and they were no help. Avoid this phone. Before this phone I had the Moto G5 Plus and I LOVED that phone, but cracked the screen badly. I thought this would be a nice update, but with the "ghost touch" issue, the phone is sometimes unusable.

I had the Samsung J7 perx prior to buying this.. this phone WAY better than the J7 PERX. The J7 PERX lags like crazy. The only thing I don't like about this phone is the camera quality Samsung J7 was slightly better and the sound quality was better. But other than that it's better as far as it doesn't lag. It's much smoother and is faster. It has the updated emojis as well. I wouldn't buy J7 perx EVER.

I'm a fan of the phablets. Especially the LG Stylo line. (Money limits choices) The G6 Play is right in line with them. Phone itself is too thin for preference, but the display is brighter. Some settings are more difficult (screenshot is one), some are easier. The ability to format an sd card as internal really helps with apps. And, it has 2.4 AND 5 ghz wireless. Too bad it's not qi ready. All in all, pretty decent.

    BUYER BEWARE

I would give this phone ZERO stars if I could. 6 weeks after purchase, the screen stopped working. Best Buy said I was out of luck because it had been over 14 days and I had not purchased their extra service plan. Best Buy is giving me the number to contact Motorola. If they respond, I will update this review.

At first works great but after a while t becomes slow and very annoying, turns off all the time. I had other moto phones but this one made me think of buying something else.
