If you like any borderlands game you'll like this. Although it doesn't bring that much new in gameplay to the table, exploring Pandora's moon with new missions, characters, and two new types of weapons is fun.

The Pre-Sequel refreshes gameplay through some new mechanics and a whole new story, including a cast of familiar characters and brand new characters, while diving into the events that lead up to Borderlands 2.

Fun playing love it being the prequel of the game.

Jack, the hero, before he was a villain, provides this game with a charm unlike any other. In fact, it's his cynical commentary that justifies the outlandish material of the game. Gear Box achieves something that many developers strive for with Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

The game wasn't actualy made by the original publisher, and it shows. It has the same feel as BL2, but missing a certain something. Low gravity is a fun mechanic, but not much else to the game.

Many game sites are not giving this game 5 stars because it is more of the same game from before, but it really tries to take advantage of the new changes as well as the Aussie developers using their brand of crazy-funny to shake things up. If they did nothing but the same game I would feel it is worth less, but many agreed that Borderlands 2 was a fantastic (i.e. 5-star) game and this is not just more of the same but a different twist on it. So...why did it get average reviews? I think gamers were really hoping for a new Borderlands to put some quality time in with their shiny new systems (PS4 or XBox One).

So far this game is great! If you enjoyed the pervious games this is lots more of the same with a few twists to spice things up. The low gravity on the moon makes for lots of laughs and some cool moves. I'm currently playing as CL4P-TP and his random special is hilarious. You never know if it's going to hurt you or help you but you're sure to get some laughs out of it. Eridium has been replaced by moonstone but it is the same concept. I did like how the developers rewarded you at the beginning of the game with upgrades and BA levels if you played the previous games.

As a long time lover of Borderlands and 2K, this game was a must pick up for me. However I do advise people to wait until the inevitable price drop in a few months or for the version with all the DLC's added. For an in-between game the Pre-sequel isn't bad but it's not excellent. The most play time you will get in your first play through is an average of 15-20 hours. There was a lack of content and much more could have been done but this game is, after all, mostly to keep people hooked while praying for Borderlands 3 to arrive on next gen consoles. Butt slams are good and fun but it does not make up for how fast the game can be played through. As always there is the additional playthroughs and much of the old content but with some new fun additions (butt slams, the grinder, moonstones instead of eriduim, oz kits, ect). Having 2K Australia was also refreshing to see and was very apparent within the game itself, making the moon feel more as a separate unique entity than the planet Pandora. The story being told also helps to further give backstory to Borderlands 2 making it almost have the feel of a 15 hour long DLC, and set up the transition to the third installment of the series. Side quests are fun and good and like Pandora, Elpis has it's own gaggle of enemies to smash and slam into. The addition of a new class of weapon was also a nice touch. Finally you can shoot your enemies faces off with a lazer while playing as the lovable Claptrap. All in all while this game is good and has some fun new features, enemies, characters, weapons and a stellar story to tie up some lose ends, it is not worth the current $60 price tag (or $64 if you live in NY with its ungodly taxes like I personally do). Wait for this game to go down in price and then snatch it up to begin your journey once again in the Borderlands universe. Now is not the time to argue Vault Hunters. War is coming.

If you played any of the previous two games, you pretty much know what to expect in this version. While they tried to add some new play mechanics, I can't say that I am a huge fan of them. Overall though, I will certainly put in the play time.

Classic Borderlands humor with lots of loot in a new locale. More background into some of the Borderlands characters.

as i have been playing throught the pre-sequal i have noticed a lot of good changes. at first i was not sure how the anti-gravity and air consumption would be, but i like how it has been done.

I bought this game for my husband for Christmas. He has all the other borderlands games and he loves this one as much as the others. He can't stop playing it. It is most definitely an adult game though due to the language.

Pretty enjoyable game, more of the same fun from Borderlands 2, new characters, new gun types, new story, and new laughs.

This game is great! It gives answers to some of the questions I had. I have really been loving it.
