The 800 Bosch cleans well. It is very quiet.as other reviewers have stated, it is great to have the red light indicator that allows you to know the unit is on, There is water left on top of glasses and other items because of the drying method it uses. I do think the silverware holder takes up a lot of space, I’m glad I saved my shorter one from my previous unit

Not only is this dishwasher beautiful, it cleans anything thrown at it. No pre-rinse needed, this thing just does amazing work. It's so quiet on multiple occasions I've accidentally opened it (there is a light that indicates the dishwasher is running, but I miss it sometimes).

I would give the Bosch 4.5 stars if I could. It washes great. It dries great; when we use drying agent. Its very quiet. The stanless handle is great for hanging two dish towels (it hasn't started rusting yet). The flush controls are beautiful. The biggest problem is that the programming gets out of whack about once a week and we have to try crazy combinations of on/off, reset or type of wash to get it back on track. Also the rubber closeout on the bottom of the dishwasher has fallen off and we need to try to figure out a way to get it back on.

Quiet, quick, easy! Took me a bit to get used to since I didn't have one for almost 20 years - but I forgot how much water they save, how little energy they use & how well they clean. This model does not have the option to move the silverware tray to the door to make room, but it does have the 3rd rack up top. I also think I would have preferred one that pops open upon being done, but it's not a deal breaker. I definitely recommend this item & am so happy with our purchase.

This is not a cheap dishwasher but it's well worth it. The Frigidaire that came with our new house 3 years ago already started having control panel issues and of course too expensive to be worth fixing. This Bosch is so quiet that we didn't realize how loud the old dishwasher was. Installation is different than the typical dishwasher install but it was still fairly easy to do, and I'm not a big DIYer. The main difference is how the power hooks up. There is a fixed cord that plugs into the back of the washer, which gets wired into a junction box that you mount inside your cabinet. It takes a little longer to install but not bad. The part that frustrated me was the panel doesn't work with the door closed. I thought I had the power hooked up wrong and actually redid it but it turned out the door had to be open to select Start. Close the door and there it went. Our previous washers haven't been like that so it would've been nice if the manual mentioned that. Otherwise, we like it so much that we are strongly considering buying another one to replace the other loud Frigidaire in the house.

It is awesome! so quiet and sleek. the third shelf is great for all those bigger utensils and everything comes out so clean!!

My new Bosch dishwasher replaced an older Bosch dishwasher. The new Bosch is heads above my older Bosch. It is quieter and has more room for dish ware and other items. Overall this is a very good quality buy for my home. Highly recommend.

This thing is so quiet you almost can’t tell it’s running. I love the adjustable top rack and the third rack for small items and long utensils. In my opinion, Bosh is the only acceptable choice when I comes to dishwashers.

We have had a Viking for over 12 years. We were hesitant to change, but after looking at ratings the name brand didn't even crack the top 10. You know what did, this Bosch 800. The dishwasher is almost a daily used appliance, so we knew that we wanted quality and reliability. We got that and so much more. I still have a hard time getting over how quiet it is that initially we were constantly opening the door to check if it was running. Classic stainless steel bar design therefore easier to clean and it uses less water. The belongs up there with the Vikings and Sub zero brands.

Really happy with this choice after a lot of research. Cleans very well in Auto cycle and is best to use the extra dry and sanitization cycle. Third rack for utensils and silverware allowed a lot more room for dishes, large bowls and pots/pans. Everything's sparkling clean and it's truly very quiet. Love that there's no premium since stainless steel is the norm for such appliances these days. Goes perfectly with my stainless steel kitchen design

After reading many reviews, we decided on the Bosch 800 series dishwasher. It is incredibly quiet, and the red light reflected on the floor is a good reminder that it's on. The 3rd rack is nice for spatulas and other flat-ish tools, but not much else. We had read some users didn't like the height of the center rack, but that was super-easy to adjust. Cons: Since it doesn't use a heating element to dry, even when using the "sanitize" feature, glasses (around the rim) and food storage containers aren't completely dry, even if they sit overnight. The utensil basket cross-tines are curved, so some random slots are deeper than others, which could have been done better. Overall happy with the dishwasher.

Was planning on getting a similar priced KitchenAid on a Labor Day free installation weekend but after they sold out the employees advised me that this was the next best thing and in some aspects better. Been very pleased with it so far. Everything comes out spotless even without the rinse aid. Can't notice any noise from it at all while I'm reading a book or watching TV 10-15feet away. Highly recommend.

Very happy with the Bosch 800 series stainless steel dishwasher. Very quiet when running, sometimes don't even realize it's on. This has been nice since our kitchen and living area is open. Does a nice job cleaning and drying the dishes, not noticing any streaks or partially cleaned dishes. The third pull out level for larger kitchen utensils is nice. Would recommend this dishwasher.

We had Bosch before but went with a GE when we built our new house because the builder's vendor had GE appliances. Big mistake. Should have done the Bosch. Love having the third rack. Love that the dishes come out clean. Only thing I don't love are the buttons on top as they are touchy, but for dishwashing, absolutely love the dishwasher. Would recommend in a second.

The Bosch 800 Series is an exceptional dishwasher. Super quiet, great rack designs, easy to operate and a handle to hang towels to boot. The only thing I wish it had was a heater as the plastic dishes / tupperware do not dry completely. I was told by the installers this is common now as companies try to lower their energy ratings to be more competitive. All in all, I'd buy it again.

Cleans great; the thing is so quiet I can’t tell it’s running. Indicator light is actually necessary to keep from checking to see if it is actually running.

This dishwasher is very quiet. The controls take a little getting used to and the cycles are long, but its other functionality makes this a great purchase.

I have been using this dishwasher for a few weeks prior to giving a review. I was worried I would not have the correct spacing for my dishes, but it has been a dream to load things and not have any issues with things coming out dirty. The number one point about this dishwasher, is how QUIET it is. I forget it is running, and we have an open concept living space. My only complaint is that when it is done, it is hard to tell if the cycle is finished. It does have a little ding whch sounds at the end, but since I run it usually prior to retiring, I don't hear it. In the morning, there is no indicator showing that the cycle has completed. That would be nice. On my Kitchenaid, the light on the control panel showed complete. Other than that, I could not be any happier with my choice. Fantastic product, easy to configure, quiet, and worth every penny. I HIGHLY recommend this dishwasher.

Does a much better job in cleaning than our old washer. Silverware, plates and etc come out especially clean. Very quiet, don’t know it is running.

The good - very quiet, seems to do a good job getting things clean, 3rd rack is a nice feature for knives and large utensils. The not so good - dishes don't dry. After a cycle is complete, I generally open the door for a while. I'm lazy and don't want to dry!
