Great dishwasher. Like all other Bosch washers it is super quite.
I chose this primarily it has no buttons or handle exposures outside. All buttons are on the inside of the door.
Handle is recessed so danger of kids pulling it.
Again super quite. You won’t know it is working even while you are in the kitchen.
Installation was supposed to be free but installation person charged me $125 to out an outlet. Had ai know that this was an outlet based washer, I could have done it myself for $10. It was too late I had to pay $125. I hold BB appliance seller responsible for not telling this requirement.
Nevertheless I Highly recommend this product.

Extremely quiet, looks smart and has a third top rack for knives, tongs and smaller items etc. Also it has a fast 60 minute cycle the does clean very well and takes the advertised 60 minutes. The end of cycle signal has different sound levels too ranging for off to loud which is handy for those that don’t want the end of cycle trill.

After reading tons of reviews in Best Buy, Consumer Reports, Reviewed.com and other sites I settled on this dishwasher. My parents have a Thermador (made by Bosch) and my in laws have a Bosch. They have the lowest repair issues on the market for dishwashers which was a big factor. The washer cleans unbelievably. It does not have a heating element so plastics will still be somewhat wet, it just makes you want to get rid of all the toxic plastic we have. Per everyone’s suggestion I always do extra dry and open the dishwasher as soon as it’s done it’s cycle, it helps with the plastics. The setup of the dishwasher is amazing, I can fit twice as much in it compared to my old dishwasher. Highly recommend Bosch!

I can't say enough great things about this unit. We wash a lot of dishes. Our last dishwasher was a lower end model that had served us well. I wanted to replace it with a Bosch. After looking, I decided on this unit. I like that there is no towel bar and the controls are hidden. It's so quiet that Bosch added a red light that sits on the floor to let you know the unit is on. Other dishwashers seem like there is never enough room for glasses. This one has it in spades. There is room to load my oversized cereal bowls too. And it cleans like a dream.
I love this dishwasher and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

We have owned Bosch dishwashers before, but this new model exceed any previous models. Super quite, love the 3rd rack, increased capacity and most important, spotless cleaning of the dishes. Does a superb job in cleaning, better than any dishwashers we owned before. The Geek Guys did a great job installing it

Great Dishwasher So Far

The dishwasher works fine and looks great but the directions are rather sketchy. It took several anxious moments and a lot of thought to get the Bosh dishwasher to work as expected. Problem: Nowhere in the operating manual does it explain what the digital display number means. For example: Turn dishwasher on and select the “Auto” cycle. The number 2:09 will now flash in the display window. What does this flashing number mean? Is it an error code? Why is it flashing? ANSWER (not in the operating manual): The flashing number identifies the time that the “Auto” cycle will run. If the “Auto” cycle is modified by selecting the additional “Extra Dry” option, then the flashing number increases to a new cycle time larger than Auto (2:09) because “Extra Dry” takes longer.
So, why is the light flashing? ANSWER (not in the operating manual): The flashing number indicates that options have been selected (Auto & Extra Dry in the above example) but have NOT yet been executed with the “Start” button. Once the “Start” button has been pressed correctly, then the flashing light becomes steady. The door must now be completely closed within four seconds. The red floor run light should now illuminate (stead).
The manual should also explain secondary indications that should be observed when buttons are touched/pressed. The buttons are not mechanical click buttons but heat/pressure sensitive buttons. The button must be held until the desired selection is accepted by the dishwasher. Using the above example: When pressing the “Extra Dry” button the flashing display number should increase in value (time). If it doesn’t increase then the “Extra Dry” button did nor register. Likewise when pressing “Start” you must observe that the display light stops flashing and goes steady. If it did not go steady the dishwasher will NOT run. After “Start” has been executed correctly and the door closed, the floor light should be steady not flashing. Flashing in this case indicates the door was not completely closed. Again, we love the dishwasher but learning how to operate it was not easy.

So Very Quiet but Tough Working Dishwasher

After numerous frustrating purchases of various dishwashers over the years, I finally broke down and went for the gold. It was hard to spend so much on a dishwasher but when you think about it, throwing away four different 2 and 3 year old dishwashers since we built our house 11 years ago was just stupidly ridiculous. The most costly so far? A $600+ Maytag which started having a panel issue just months after it's second year. Really? Within a home of just three adults who take care of their things this is just another example of the nosedive brand quality has done. So, I went for the gold and oh boy, do I feel like a Queen! This machine is beautiful and amazingly quiet. Every single thing I put in it comes out sparkly clean. I do not regret a single penny spent on my Bosch dishwasher. Yay, Me!

Close enough

This dishwasher is close enough to perfect. Installation was timely, quick, and informative. I find it very intuitive to use. It dries VERY fast if you simply open the door and let it sit for a couple minutes. It is dead silent.
My only complaint is that my household and visitors consume a lot of wine. My wine glasses don’t fit with the third rack even adjusting the top rack all the way down. So now the third rack has been permanently removed which is ironic because it was such an important feature to me in theory when I was doing research.
My wine glasss are too tall/heavy for the tines to hold up. This is insanely frustrating and I still haven’t found a good solution. I’ve lost two soldiers in battle thus far.
However, this thing cleans like a DREAM and I guess you just can’t have everything.
My overall review reminds me of the movie Babe: That’ll do pig, that’ll do.

We have had our dishwasher for 3 months now and I couldn't be happier. It cleans great & is so quiet the only way you know it's running is the red light that shows on the floor. I would highly recommend this dishwasher!

Cleans well and is very quiet. Unfortunately within a few years of purchase the control panel is unreadable. Very disappointing.
We purchased this dishwasher in 2017 as part of a kitchen remodel where we installed all Bosch appliances. Almost every one of them suffered a failure within a few years, but of course outside of warranty. See my other reviews on the Best Buy site.
Bosch is no longer a quality manufacturer.

Great dishwasher with bad installation. Dishwasher worked great for a few days then stopped working. Issue was not dishwasher but drain hose which was installed with a kink. Installer had also left packaging trash in driveway and kept asking for us to give him an excellent rating.

If there wasn’t a red light projected to the floor you wouldn’t even know it was running! This dishwasher is way quite! Cleans great. I love the top shelf for utensils and water bottle lids. Also ability to adjust the height of lower two shelves!

The main reason we bought this is how incredibly quiet the dishwasher is. And that has been extremely helpful for us. Our toddler sleeps in the living room and the dishwasher does not disturb him. You barely notice it when it's running.
It's blends into the background as it has no branding on the outside, so it was a great option for our appliances that don't all match (Samsung, Kenmore, Frigidaire...).
The main issue with the dishwasher is the low quality of drying. The top rack always has water accumulated on bowls and only with rinse aid does it dry all dishes. Our previous, cheaper, dishwasher was very noisy, but blasting the heat so much that all dishes were completely dry.
Overall, we'd buy it again, but we are disappointed with a name like Bosch having problems with something as basic as drying.

Sorry, guys, but I had to say it. Just two of the things a man can appreciate, it's so quite you can run it while you guests are still with you, or you can watch TV without being disturbed. The other thing that amazed me was that we used to wash the wine glasses by hand, because we wanted them crystal clear. Not any more, they come out of the dishwasher better than ever.

One of our main criteria for a new dishwasher, after getting dishes clean, was to be quiet . This unit is quietest rated unit we could find and it lives up to its ratings. It is barely noticeable that it is running. Beyond that, the 3 racks provide a great deal of flexibility in loading various types of kitchenware. Since the controls are not visible when the door is closed, we love the small red light shining on the floor when it's running. The installation by Geek Squad was perfect. They arrived within the scheduled time and did a very professional job.

Love this dishwasher . My dishes come out so sparkly and shiny! We had a BOSCH dishwasher that lasted close to 25 years, so I knew I wanted another Bosch, especially since they were still getting great reviews. This new one is so quiet and does a great job. Still getting used to having 3 racks available, but after a few weeks, I'm figuring it out. It holds so many more dishes than my old one that was the same size, we run it less often. it is so quiet, you don't know its on. Highly recommend.

So far so good. It is extremely quite which is one of the main reasons that I choose this dishwasher. It does a good job in cleaning the dishes. Its just that I have to get used to checking the filter and rinsing it out. (My old dishwasher had a disposal built-in.)
