I wanted a bigger sound for my TV. I use a Bose system on my iMac so I decided to try the 301's for the TV. Great choice!! They deliver the deep, rich (loud) sound I've been looking for!!! Problem solved!!

I have waited 38 long years for my Bose speakers. Listened to some 901's long ago, but could never really find the room for them. Well a long awaited birthday gift to myself. My 301's look perfect with my hardwood furniture and were by far the best bookshelf size speakers that myself and wife compared to all available. Dont put it off like i did, your ears deserve the best reproduction of your music collection.

Just got these as a replacement for the ones that came with my home theater. Can't believe the difference. Crisp, clear sound; and they look good too.

I am a fan of Bose stuff. I think these speakers represent a great value. I am using them currently mounted on the wall in the garage, but they have also been used as rear surround speakers in my living room. I think Bose is smart and eq's out the range their speakers do not play well, which is what makes them sound so good, as you never hear anything that sounds bad. These are not world ending speakers, but a great sound quality for the money.

Very nice vocals and have plenty of bass. Really surrounds the room with the tweeters that bounce sound off the walls.

Great speakers, mid bass is cool too... Bought stands for them also, don't want $300 plus sitting on the floor... You'll hear vocals clearly, music sounds nice... But I wish they upped the ante on the low bass, come on for 3 bills, gimme more punch for the money... Buy a subwoofer... Anyways, I've seen reviews on these speakers, I'm most impressed by how long they actually last. Some folks have had them for over 10 years, that's a major plus...

Decided to buy this set of speakers, great sound and bass.

I have been an audio do-be since 33 1/3 /rpm's with over 300 vinals and 300 CD's. I have a serious sound set-up with home theater and the whole bit. My Acoustic Research Speakers gave out and I now have a Cambridge Sound Works configuration that I am very happy with, In my other casual reading room, my AR speakers sort of just got tiered and I had to replace them Over 20 years isn't bad. I have always been a BOSE Snob feeling that BOSE are over priced and purchased by people who wouldn't know a good speaker if they met one. After looking around at price points and vast aray of selections I decided to get the BOSE 301's. I figured it was just for easy listening so I won't be too fussy. The price point was right and it is a reputable firm. The next challenge was to find a stand to put them on. Well I found the SAMUS foundation stand. The configuration works perfectly and the sound id wonderful from my 1950's Dixieland to Godspell, To Joan Baez on into my Irish music collection and the 1812 Overture. The stand and 301's look like a single unit and the height is perfect, And the sound is perfect to my ear. If you are looking to fill a room with your music and unless you are ready to take your music with you when you go shopping for a book shelf size set of speakers I would strongly recommend the BOSE 301's. With the SANUS stand you don't need to put them on a book shelf or table. You can place them anywhere in the room for best performance and room layout. I have met the BOSE 301's and we get along just Great !! :) We ENJOY our music.

These speakers have a full rich sound that reaches into the lower levels up to the high. I chose them as they reportedly have circuitry to protect themselves from signals that might harm them.

I was looking for a pair of speakers that would enhance student appreciation of instrumental, vocal, classical, jazz, rock and computer generated music. This pair of speakers more than meets my expectations.

I am using these 3.0 speakers as front speakers on my surround system ,with 2.0 bose as rear speakers. Sound like i am at a movie theater. I would recommend these speakers

These 301's rounded out my home theater setup. Highly recommend the FS-01 stands to place them at the correct height, or the wall mount bracket. They look great as well, unique Bose styling as opposed to the standard black box.

This is the second set of Bose 301 speakers I have purchased. I still use the originals which I purchased over 10 years ago and they still perform great.

When you buy Bose your buying the best. These speakers sound awesome. I have Bose in both of my Chevys and everyone always comments on how good the stereo sounds ! Its all in the speakers..

These speakers have been phenomenal for watching movies and surround sound. I have been quite impressed. I am glad I purchased them.

Bose is one of the leaders in the home theater/audio sound industry. Their products last an eternity & the quality rarely disappoints. My purchase has proved much of the same. It's extremely easy to install & tune with receiver. The downfall is that it does not mesh well with lesser quality systems. I have a Sony woofer & surround speakers. The Bose speakers completely outperform the others, and it is noticeable. Converting to an all Bose system is rather costly but necessary if you want peak performance. Even the discontinued items hold their value , so heading to an outlet doesn't really provide the savings you'd think.

i search for a pair of speakers for my home theater and these fit the bill. i use them for the front which also lets me rock out when listening to tunes

Incredible sound used to have big old heavy speakers these are the bomb. Pink Floyd lives again in our home.

As expected, the quality of these speakers is fantastic! The size is a bit large, but the sound quality is exactly what I was looking for.
