Excellent bass module only variance I have observed is it makes pop sound when having obstacles between module and sound bar. Produces bass without any disturbance. Used nakamichi shockwave earlier which I had to return as i felt the effect of bass through the walls but with Bose 700 module felt the feel of bass as a wave in the air rather through walls.

My husband asked for this for Christmas and he hardly ever asks for anything. Initially I was going to purchase the 300 series, but after some research and the constant smile on my husband’s face, I definitely made the right choice. The sound is so good, when my brother’s girlfriend asked him what he wanted for Christmas, he enthusiastically, without hesitation chose this product. Make sure you purchase the sound bar and speakers. The accompaniment is out of this world. There’s also a different wire we had to purchase later due to the vibration causing the sound to go in and out at times.

By far the best sub, I hope I can soon get the second sub but just one has a great sound integration with the sound bar ultra and surrounds 700. Worth the price tag.

I have this paired with my smart soundbar 900 and it compliments it very well. The soundbar produces deceptively good base and when you combine it with the base module 700 its premium cinema like. I have the base module set at a 5/10 when I play call of duty and I sit 10 feet away and I can feel the base with the gunfire and explosions through the back of my chair... and its on carpet.. not hardwood haha Also.. connectd to sound bar in less than 20 seconds .

Love that this fits perfectly inside our entertainment unit. I really like that it’s white so it blends with my decor. The sound is perfect, you never can go wrong with Bose products.

This thing sounds amazing. I replaced my Harmon kardon soundbar with this Bose 700 with wireless subwoofer not expecting much more and wow! This thing kicks! Highly recommended.

At first, i though i made a mistake of purchsing this item because the volume was to soft. But when discovered that the volume could be adjusted on the app, this thing is the real thing. Couldn't be more happier. You can have all the subwoofers in the world but this one is the best for me.

I've always loved Bose speakers. First time I bought a subwoofer. It works well with the soundbar I bought. The bass is just the boom I needed for my movies and music.

I bought the Bose bass module 700 with the smart soundbar 900, and while it sounds awesome, there is one major issue that prevents me from recommending this wireless bass module.
One major requirement of a smart soundbar is that it can connect to a Wi-Fi signal. While that it is indeed a feature of Bose smart soundbars, it doesn't work well with whatever proprietary method they are using to transmit a wireless signal from the soundbar to the bass module. The problem is that the Wi-Fi signal causes interference that manifests as a popping sound in the bass module. Needless to say, it sounds terrible and completely ruins the experience of watching television.
The "solution" in this case is to disable the Wi-Fi connection in the soundbar, which effectively converts an expensive smart soundbar into a severely overpriced dumb soundbar. What's more is that most of the settings for the soundbar are only accessible via a mobile application that connects... wait for it... via Wi-Fi. That means every time I want to make an adjustment, I have to grab the remote and enable the Wi-Fi, grab my phone and open the app, navigate to the soundbar in the app, change the intended settings, and then grab the remote again to disable the Wi-Fi. That is what I would could a very poor user experience.
Alternatively this interference issue can be eliminated by connecting the smartbar to the bass module with a cable. They do offer a cable of course, but you have to purchase it separately, and at this price point I am loath to hand over more money when the cable should have been included with the bass module to begin with.
Hi James. I am sorry to hear that the connection of your bass module with the soundbar is being affected by your internet. To prevent wireless signals from over-powering devices next to it, be sure to keep other wireless devices at least two feet away from the soundbar and the bass module. Also, you can use any 3.5 mm aux cable to connect the soundbar to the bass module. It is just that the one we sell is 15ft long and you can run it farther. We bought this subwoofer with the sound bar and it has been the best purchase ever! The quality is incredible and I even connected my record player to it. You would not regret it if you get this. Specially if you are into movies with great sound effects.

I have a small tv room, about 250sq ft. This system more than exceeds my expectations. I paired it with the 700 soundbar & satellite speakers.
I am Very Happy with my purchase!

I honestly couldn’t be more happier with the Bose 700 Bass Module. I did my research on this unit and agree with most reviewers, if you’re going to purchase a Bose 700 Soundbar- you’re going to want to purchase the bass module to be satisfied. While the Soundbar is great, it’s not going to give you what your hoping for when you pay $700 for a Soundbar. This module sounds amazing if you’re someone who loves to hear that bass. I also have the surround sound speakers and love the overall experience. I also love the WiFi connectivity. Good job Bose!
