Everything is great about this system. The sound is clear. The bass is awesome. There is a lot of power in this small package.

Sound quality is superb for computer speakers. Sub thumps and spacial enhancement is excellent! Loud enough to fill my entire apartment! For those who say in other reviews that they have difficulty hooking up to Windows 10, mine were basically plug and play, with no issues. Very pleased with purchase.

Bought these speakers to go with my new iMac. Set up was a breeze, especially since i'm not super inclined. They have full, amazing sound. Still searching for an app that will let me control the volume from my iPhone. If i had a complaint it would be that it should have a remote, but i'm sure i can find an app that will do the same thing. If you listen to a lot of music on your computer, like with spotify, pandora, iTunes etc, this will definitely give you the best sound.

This has been perfect for my PC gaming setup!! Great sound, great bass!

...Excellence in quality sound and performance. Once you get past the price point, take it home and crank up the volume of your favorite music, you will know you made the right choice. It is amazing how you can get the surround sound effect from a three speaker system. Low volume quality is just as clear and sharp as mid and loud for when you want soft background sound.

I love these speakers. Bose technology creates clear, uncluttered sound with no hiss or background noise whatsoever. The separation is awesome with distinguishable highs and lows. Premium speakers, premium sound.

I've been a Bose girl for many years now, and these speakers did not disappoint. The clarity and power of them only once again sealed the deal for me that I will be remaining a Bose girl forever! (It's all that is allowed in my house, and that includes head phones too!)

I always knew Bose was a good product and I had previously own a pair of video speakers and another Bose speaker that my original iPod plugged into. I recently bought the Bose - Companion 5 Multimedia Speaker System and although they are somewhat expensive, it was absolutely worth every penny. The first thing I tried was playing the Interstellar soundtrack by Hans Zimmer from iTunes and it sounded absolutely incredible even at very high volume. My music sounds "crisp". The "touch" mute is a little sensitive. If I'm moving the control pod, sometimes I accidentally mute it. It was very easy to setup. Just plug in the USB cable to your computer and the drivers are automatically installed. My system is running Microsoft Windows 8.1. The control pod has a jack for headphones for private listening. It also has a 3.5mm input jack for other sound sources. I highly recommend these speakers. You just can't go wrong with these.

I have always wanted a Bose sound system, but have had trouble justifying the cost. This has been a good compromise since my laptop is my stereo. Super easy to set up, just connect via the USB cable, the software installs and you're ready to go. The overall sound is not top end Bose sound, but this is not a wave station or off of the top shelf. The Acoutimass delivers excellent low end, but I have noticed some scratchy sound on the high end. Reducing the output from my media player and turning up the volume on the Bose has helped, but not completely eliminated it. The speakers look really nice and take up minimal space. You may want to clamp them down to the desk if you have cats though...

I've owned Bose systems in the past and realized it was time to upgrade my current computer sound system. I purchased and installed this system (easy) and started enjoying my music library again!

I am a huge fan of music and have been told I have discriminating ears. I highly recommend these speakers to anyone looking for superior speakers for their computer. Bose speakers are the best.

Bose is relentless in its passion to perfect where this listener thought perfection had been achieved. May their labs be consecrated! Music is my master, and Bose ' s Companion 5 has mastered the technology to bring out the unheard. For now.....LET YOUR EARS DO THE TALKING.

Going into this purchase, I had fairly high expectations considering they carry the Bose name. With that said, I was still amazed how great these speakers perform. They definitely exceeded my expectations. I read a few reviews by people who claim that these speakers perform below their expectations and I'm personally dumbfounded by this. Music is a passion of mine and these make the experience all that much more enjoyable. I may not be in the music industry but I like to think I have a fairly keen ear and I haven't picked up on ANYTHING from these speakers to make me question their quality. I HIGHLY recommend these to anyone that is looking for good quality speakers. I'm using them at my desktop computer in an office that's roughly 200 square feet. The sound is somewhat degraded immediately behind the speakers but in front it's phenomenal and when you are around 4' or more away from the rear of the speakers, the sound quality is that of the front. Who really listens with their speakers pointed directly away from them anyways? The acoustics of each location make all the difference but they work well in my office. I'm impressed enough that I actually wrote this review; something I never do unless I'm either truly impressed or thoroughly disappointed. I hope this helps and I don't believe you'll be disappointed in the least.

Wanted an external sound system with great Bose quality and I got it. If one s looking for something like this, I highly recommend this particular system. One will not be disappointed.

The descriptive summary was good but does not compare to the sound quality you get until you hear it. I own many Bose products and yes Bose is expensive but you get what you pay for,fantastic sound!,,

I was worried about the price of these speakers but after hearing them they are awesome. Glad I made the right choose. Sound is clear sound great with movies and music . Thanks best buy for helping me pick these.
