I was pleasently surprised when I hooked these up. 2 small speakers, a small sub in a rather bulky enclosure, but the sound was amazing for the price. These can easily be used elsewhere without a problem. The 4 stars is because of the proprietary speaker cables and jacks. Everything has to be hooked up through the subwoofer. If the woofer fails, the entire system will not work.

Of all the computer speaker systems I have bought in the past this one far exceeds them all. If you want clear, precise and pure tones this is the speaker system you will want and need. Despite it being a little pricey, it's worth ever penny! Now that I have one, I can live without it.

Surround sound never sound better. This Bose multimedia speaker system with 5.1 multi-channel audio is absolutely amazing. Perfect surround sound. Crisp, clear, and cool. You won't believe that audio sound could be this good.

I have consistently loved Bose speakers. After a recent house fire, I needed to replace my computer speakers. I upgraded to these Companion 5 speakers. Love them. I do voice-over work and the sound is amazing. Great for iTunes, videos and gaming. Highly recommend

I have gone through many speakers for my computers over the years, but these blow them all out of the water. They are crisp and clear and creates a nice surround sound feel from just two little speakers. If you have the money and are considering, they I would gladly suggest a purchase.

I use them daily for music, podcasts and movies with all of them sounding great. Only issue I have is the power plug is not as secure as I would like but if you don't have cats or kids playing in your office then it shouldn't be an issue for you.

Love this speakers, one of the best speaker for desk top computer. I would recommend this to a friend!

I was looking for something to give my computer great sound to music on my iTunes. This system hit a home run on sound. I had listened to the Klipsch pro media and the Logitech z623 systems but liked these much better. Yes they cost much more but worth it.

Easy to set up great sound works with TV stereo your iPhone.

Good speakers, just too expensive. I must be paying extra for the name brand.

I had a lesser system made by bose it was a good system but this one is far better.thank you.

After reading so many reviews on these speakers, most of the negative ones involved Windows 10 problems. I am currently using them on a Windows 10 computer and set up was fast and easy. Properly set up,these are outstanding and well worth the price.

Sound, is better than expected. But this is because I am coming from laptop speakers. I mean it does have glitches sometimes BUT you just restart and begin again. Because those glitches are not enough to make you wanna return it.

I was impressed with the sound at the store, but now that I am home, with any genre, these are remarkable. I am a classical musician, so speakers are important to me. These are the best I have heard in their category.

Great first couple of days, but then kept losing right speaker...had to wiggle the connection to get it back on...after double checking it was tightly plugged in, kept going in and out, until finally stopped working altogether...ended up returning it to store, but when was 100% sounded great...
