My wife is hard of hearing. While the device worked the first time she used it, there was a great deal of sound feedback thereafter. Also, the controls were very hard to use while she wore the headset. Thus, we regretfully had to return the item.

Bose Hearphones is a versatile headphone that benefits those who have some hearing problems and definitely helped my father. The sound feels natural, enhancing the sound around me rather than blasting it into my hear. It is a little hard to explain. They are undeniably comfortable, allowing me and my Father to wear them upon hours. The collar meant that I was able to remove one or both and not have to worry about fitting them in my pocket, I like the design. Before lending them to my father, I used these to watch Television at night with the volume low. It was great that it allowed me to watch tv without bothering my wife at night. You can turn on the noise cancellation feature which worked well in restaurants according to my Dad. It allows him to get rid of background noise and able to focus on the conversations. Not only are they are great set of supplemental hearing aids, they play music very well as well. Bose sound quality as with any other Bose headset. To use these to its fullest potential, you need to download the app. Make sure to upgrade your firmware to get the best version of the Hearphones. They are a great device and helped my Father.

These didn’t work as I thought they should. Horrible sound reproduction. I’ve owned other Bose headphones in the past and they were fine. Maybe they were defective? I returned to Best Buy.

The Bose Hearphones are an amazing product for anyone looking for an option to help with their hearing difficulties. As a military veteran I have great difficulty listening to conversations where there is a lot of background noise due to my hearing loss. The Hearphones help greatly by allowing you to focus on the noise that matters not all the background unimportant noise. The microphones on each of the headphones pick up and amplify the conversations you would like to hear. With a Bluetooth connection you can also make and take phone calls and listen to music. The Hearphones are compatible with Apple and Android phones allowing you to use voice commands with the built in AI on either type of phone. The music and call quality are top notch and the ability to amplify and focus in on specific conversations is just icing on the cake.

Having worked around heavy machinery for a number of years, there are some times that I have to look at peoples mouths to make sure that I understand them. These certainly helped, but the neck piece feels awkward. I think I'll probably get used to it. If you've used these sorts (with a piece around your collar) of headphones before, then I'd say they are well worth it. They cleaned up the sound for me.

Overall I was pleased. Crowded room with about 50 elementary schoolers and families and I could hear conversations from those sitting at my table very clearly. Battery life was 5-6 hours. I didn't feel like the ear buds stayed in my ear very. Used the small size but could have used a smaller one.

I was drawn to the Hearphones as a means to again hear conversation in mixed environments with background noise. Not only do they perform amazingly in that regard, but when streaming music they sound so much more musical and detailed compared to most other Bose headsets, including the QC 25, 30 and 35 as well as the Soundsports. Full control is available either directly on the device's control buttons or on the Hearphone's smartphone app. The immediate improvement in quality of life for those challenged with slight to profound hearing challenges in social and professional settings cannot be overstated. I would gladly pay 3 times what these cost now that I can fully engage in one-to-one and one-to-many conversation where there is heavy background noise. The QuietComfort noise-cancelling is here, too. The microphone is outstanding and callers say my voice quality has never sounded better. The music quality is great, probably attributable to Bose using a more expensive and better quality DAC in this product's circuit, hence the higher cost than their other ear/head-sets. I can't recommend the Hearphones enough. Truly a God-send.

Great earphones for anyone that has hearing problems!

I’ve been using these while taking classes, and this really works great for focusing my hearing where I need it to be. I’m partially deaf in one ear, and these help pick up the slack. Sound is great.

Got these not to hear a conversation better in a noisy room but instead to be able to turn down the TV to keep a room quieter. When you have to play the TV loud, that causes everyone else to be loud, too. With the help of these we don't have to do that any more. So easy to setup. Good battery life. Works for conversational purposes, too, but sometimes thinking outside the box helps more.

I’ve been using it for a day now and I’m very pleased with the results. It is working as described and performing as I expected. I’ve been in a conversation at a crowded restaurant, one on one in a closed office space and in the car listening to music all with great results. Seems to be a fine substitute for extremely expensive hearing aids.

One would expect that such expensive earbuds could last more than a year, but no. After about a year, you realize that you must have the 1" by 1" warranty card because your buds start cutting in and out of working. Unfortunately for me, I lost this warranty card which one would think is useless because who would pay for earbuds that have 12-months of longevity. After this deadline, the earbuds begin to begin randomly dying on you even with a full charge. These are worth $30 at the most, please, I urge you not to waste your money. At the time, I payed $300, but the price somehow skyrocketed. They are nice if you can garentee yourself that you will never lose that allusive warranty card, but not worth the price at all.

Well bought these two day's ago they wont stay charged. Use about 20 minutes. Then it says to charge them? Needless to say i will be returning.

Stay away. I took so much care of them for nothing. The worst crap ever. My first and last BOSE product!!!
