Works great to cancel noise. However, it does not cancel people's voices as well as other noises, so if you wear it without playing any audio you may hear some minimal voices around, but of course not as much noise as without. Overall, great headphones in noise canceling and sound quality.

The first time I tried these headphones on at best buy I was amazed. So I decided to get these and man, they're awesome. When they say noise cancelling they mean it. Easy to use and store. Super comfortable. Definitely recommend.

I really enjoy these headphones and their noise cancelling ability. I've used them while studying in my apartment, and while riding in a car on a road trip. I'm looking forward to using them on an upcoming flight to cancel any unwanted noise. The case it comes with is also nice and sturdy, so I don't need to worry about them getting damages while being packed away.

Love these headphones!!!. The cancellation quality is absolutely incredible.. Took a 5 hour flight in the back of a plane recently and with these on.. Closed my eyes, its like being in a quiet room in your home.. unbelievable!! Only thing I notice is that they create a pressure difference in my ears that I am a little sensitive to. Other than that, Highly recommend!!

Light, compact, great sound, effective noise cancelling

I have the QC 15 my girlfirend wanted them for as we travel on the airplane. All the hang up on the 15, must be powered to pass signal, buly plugs, are elimnated, also the iphone controls are very nice. Also the noise callcelation has improved with new mic locations and feedback from the avation headset users. The consumer noise cancelling headphone on the market!

The sound is incredible and they are very comfortable.

Used these on a recent flight cross country. It made the flight more enjoyable. I sound quality of the movies and music was outstanding. The noise cancelling feature made a huge difference in how everything sounded. It was like being in my own private surround theater on the plane.

Comfortable to wear, blocks out noise on long flights

These were purchased for the office, a noisy open plan space. These headphones eliminate the oppressive air conditioning noise allowing better concentration. Add music and you move to a different world. Take them off and reality comes crashing back. These are everything that Bose promises. Just get a pair you won’t regret it.

I have used mine for travel and on the airplane. Normal headphones i cant drown out enough of the noise to hear the movie on my tablet very well. But these work so well. No problem hearing. With the cord and not the wireless version. You can walk on the plane with them on and never have to take them off for the whole flight.

I have been purchasing Bose products for many years and they never disappoint and these headphones may be the best product i have ever purchased made by Bose. Crisp sound, long battery life and very comfortable.

I bought these as a gift for my wife because she flies a lot for work. She said they are great noise cancelling on long flights, but she also uses them at home when watching her tablet as the quality is so good. I read reviews before I bought them, and everything said these were the best for sound quality and noise cancellation. Definitely worth the money.

I could not be more pleased with these head phones. I travel a lot and I'm so impressed with the noise reduction. Also use them at work to focus on projects. If you're on the fence go ahead and purchase these you will not regret it.
