Annoying voice prompts can't be turned off

Why is no one mentioning the annoying voiceover prompts that can't be shut off and are set at a permanently fixed volume? This is the same type of feature used for disability assistance, but it's unnecessary and should be changeable in the Bose QCE app.
Any time you put them in, you have to wait for the voiceover prompts to go through the motions of confirming battery life and connection status. I believe it also notifies you of low battery percentage, but I haven't used them for long enough to confirm. A simple "beep" would do?
It's completely unnecessary and is an option that SHOULD be possible to change in the Bose QCE app. However, it is stated that voiceover is not able to be changed for this specific product in the customer help forums. For reference, see the link below.

I'll probably return for this reason alone. It's such a simple thing to fix with an update and clearly it doesn't bother enough people to be mentioned in any of the reviews here. However, it is ABSOLUTELY something that should be mentioned since it cannot be changed...for whatever reason.

Great product the only thing that I can say I didn’t like is the round little piece that surrounds the outer part of the earphone. It falls easily and I lost a few of them and that that’s what keeps the earpiece snuggle to your ear.

They are the best ear duds I have ever used and the most comfortable and the variety of colors is great instead of just black and white. All in all I love them!!

Headphones work great. Great sound. I've had airpods and Samsung earbuds. These have been the best.

I returned these because, for what you’re paying, I personally don’t feel like they’re worth it. They’re not very noise cancelling (I have $30 earbuds that are more noise cancelling) and I personally like headphones with actual button to control them, I kept accidentally skipping songs when I had wet hair.
