Big ol nope.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, my Aipod Pro 2s sounded better. Less than a year after purchase, the charging case contacts for the left earbud stopped working unless I held the earbud in place—which also meant that the phone thought the earbuds were in use whether they were in the case or not. The app is clunky and gives you yet one more step to actually connect these things. No multipoint or wireless charging.

Posted .Hello Michael,
I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your QuietComfort Ultra earbuds.
To make sure your earbuds are charging properly, please make sure the eartips and stability bands are correctly placed on the buds so they can sit in the case without issue.
Also you can connect the earbuds directly to your phone without using the app, if needed.
And you can connect the earbuds to 2 devices in multipoint.
If you have any further questions, contact us: https://bose.life/3rykPZR

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disconnects from my phone, when I have both ear buds in the case somehow my phone still connects. I charged the case yesterday and when I went to grab them it was dead??? How does that happen?? I left one ear bud in the case charging for about 4 hrs, when I switched ear buds the one that was charging was only 40 % charged but the case has FULL charge? Definitely not something worth getting.

Posted .Hi Arisbeth, I'm sorry to hear your QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds are disconnecting from your phone some of the time. It's also strange that you're charging your case, but that the earbuds are showing no signs of life when you go to use them. One thing to try here is a reset of your earbuds. Here is a guide on how to do this: https://support.bose.com/s/article/resetting-your-product-quietcomfort-ultra-earbuds?isSessionCreated=true&language=en_US. If the reset doesn't help the situation, there are some other troubleshooting steps to try, so please contact our support team for further support there: https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US. I understand you've sent them back to Bose for support. I'd suggest making sure that the stability bands on the earbuds are correctly aligned with the dots on the earbuds. As the earbuds may not sit correctly when misaligned causing charging issues. Please also contact us (https://bose.life/contact) for support should you need it.

Posted .I'm sorry to hear your QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds would no longer hold a charge, especially as you were happy with their sound for the first month. The earbuds will last for 4 hours when Immersive Audio is on, for 6 hours when it is off, and a fully-charged case will supply a further 18 hours of charge to the earbuds. The absolute worst of the noise canceling earbuds
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will just start this by saying these have unmatched noise canceling until the AirPod Pro three came out. Truly world class in noise canceling, and sound quality. Everything else is an absolute train wreck. The connectivity is terrible. They are bad at charging. They somehow don’t connect in the case or lose charge overnight for no reason even when they’re not being used. There is no wireless charging which the previous generation had but I guess we have to cut costs when we’re charging $300 for a pair of earbuds. The app is adequate, but the volume is inconsistent. You have to go through too many steps to make any adjustments. Nothing is easy on these. They are so annoying in Daily life even taking them out of the case is difficult and aggravating. I wanted a pair for my android phone and I could’ve saved a lot of money by getting a set of Jabras. Both thinks they can charge whatever they want for a unfinished and unreliable product because of their name and it is true, The sound quality is great but terrible product.

Erratic behavior and unstable connectivity
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start by saying that I really wanted to love the Bose Earbuds. The promise of premium sound quality and a comfortable fit drew me in, but unfortunately, my experience with them has been marred by some significant issues. The most frustrating issue I've encountered is the erratic behavior of the earbuds. Every ten minutes or so, without warning, the sound mode seems to switch from quiet to aware, and then back again in a fraction of a second. This might not sound like a big deal, but let me tell you, it's incredibly disruptive. It momentarily blocks ambient sounds, then returns to normal, causing a jarring effect that throws off the balance in my ears. It's like being on a rollercoaster ride every time I'm trying to enjoy my music or a podcast. What's even more frustrating is that this isn't an isolated incident. This is my second pair of Bose Earbuds, both of which have experienced the same issue. And it's not a problem specific to one device either—I've tried using them with two different phones, an iPad, and a Dell laptop, and the issue persists across all of them. It's incredibly disappointing to spend a significant amount of money on a product only to encounter the same problem repeatedly. Another major issue I've encountered is with call functionality. Here's the kicker: after the call ends, the earbuds decide it's time to disconnect and reconnect, causing an unnecessary interruption. This disruptive behavior means that every time I finish a call, I have to endure the unpleasant experience of the earbuds disconnecting and then reconnecting, disrupting any subsequent activity. Additionally, there are occasions when they disconnect randomly for no apparent reason, requiring me to put them back in the case to regain connection. This inconsistency is simply unacceptable, particularly for a product in this price range Now, don't get me wrong—the fit of the Bose Earbuds is perfect, and when they're working properly, the sound quality is impressive. But these glitches and defects have made me regret making such an expensive purchase. It's a shame because I had high hopes for these earbuds, but unfortunately, they've fallen far short of my expectations. In conclusion, while the Bose Earbuds have the potential to deliver a top-notch audio experience, the recurring issues I've encountered have left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. Unless Bose addresses these issues in future iterations, I can't in good conscience recommend these earbuds to others. Buyer beware.

Posted .Hello Nelson, thank you for sharing your experiences of using the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds.
While I'm happy to hear that you've been enjoying the sound quality and fit of your earbuds, I am surprised to hear they've been switching from Quiet to Aware mode on their own. This shouldn't happen; could it be that e.g. some headgear that you're wearing is involuntarily causing this to happen?
As for the connection issues, we'd like to take a closer look at these with you as well. The best thing to do would be to contact your local support team, who will be happy to investigate and see what troubleshooting can be tried in order to remedy the above issues. The team can be contacted via the following options:
https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US
Thanks for trying some steps already - you are right that it makes sense to try different devices (to make sure that isn't the problem) and to put the earbuds back in the charging case if the connection is temporarily interrupted.

keeps disconnecting from bluetooth
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When they new they work beautiful. Sound, bluetooth range and battery life good. However after 3 moths or so bluetooth start disconnecting. Some times work once you the earbuds back in the box and wait for a minute. Other times you have to reset and the buds and ''forget this device " on the phone to reconnect. And there are times you just left it alone and go without it. I already replaced my original and the replaced ones is with the same issues as my original.

Almost great
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ear buds have a nice design. The bass is pretty good. The way they sit in your ear is amazing. Only few things that I couldnt get passed was that they are not loud enough. You keep wanting to turn up the volume. Lol. During phone calls, i kept getting alot of distortion. And last, they dont switch between devices very easy. I ended up taking them back and getting Airpod Pro 2. Sucks because I really wanted to like them.

Not built to last. Or maybe its just me?
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved the product when I bought it last year in October 2023. It did everything it said it would, great sound, noise-canceling feature were awesome and they were light and stylish. I want to say about 3-4 months afteri bought them is when they started getting glitchy. They would either not connect to my phone or the different sound modes would not change. I thought maybe they needed an update or it could have been that I had an Iphone so it was a compatiblity issue that messes with the connection. I did have to download an app to use it. So that was also a first. You know…. Making excuses and what not lol the issues resolved on their own so I did not care to investigate any further. Pay mind that I tend to use them 4-5 days a week at the gym for about 1-1 and half hours. It was until the last 3 months that the right ear bud would get static to the point i could not wear it anymore because it was so unpleasant. As for the past month, none of the different modes work so when you change them. It annouces that they changed (workout, quiet, aware, immersion, etc) but nothing happens. The device is up-to-date, I’ve kept up with taking care of them soooooo? It could be that they are just meant for a leisurely and less active lifestyle and I overused them. So I definitely will not be buying these specific headphones again and would go for something that can last longer with less problems.

Left ear static noise makes these things annoying!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds have great sound - the bass is great (maybe too much!), the mids aren't super offensive (and can be scooped with in-app EQ), and the highs are clear and crisp. As far as earbuds go, these do offer a superior experience that I think would make most people happy. Active noise cancelling on these rival their headset counterparts and make commuting (I travel via the NYC Subway) a lot less painful. The earbuds fit well into my (smaller) ear canal and the seal is perfect. For all intents and purposes, these would be my ideal earbuds, more so than the Sony WF-1000 series earbuds. So why the 2-star rating? There's an incessant, annoying, and ever present hissing/static noise that comes from the left ear-bud, no matter how hard I try to fix it. I've tried resetting these ear buds, I've tried connecting to a different audio source, everything. I'm not sure if my pair of earbuds are specifically defective, but it I can hear it while listening to music, podcasts, you name it. This doesn't sound like regular "floor noise", but that something is seriously wrong with these earbuds. Doing a quick Google search reveals similar issues with this model specifically. I will be returning these today and going with the inferior Sony earbuds just so that I have something to use.

Posted .Hi Luke, I'm happy to hear you like the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds' sound! As you correctly said, the sound can be fine-tuned to your liking via the in-app EQ. It's also good to hear that you got on well with the earbuds' fit, and with the noise cancelling.
As for the noise you've described in the left earbud, thank you for trying some troubleshooting. I can confirm that this sound is normal; you may be able to hear a faint digital artifact when in a quiet environment, not listening to music, and noise cancelling is on high. If you're also hearing the noise whilst listening to music, we can proceed with offering service; however, if the issue is still present on your exchange set, it will ultimately be down to the earbud’s design.
Warm regards

Don't waste your money
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Noise cancelling is the only great thing about these. Connectivity is terrible and they are not built to last. Bought these 4.17.24. After a couple months of having them I was having issues with keeping them connected to my laptop, which was one of the primary things I needed headphones for. Now they no longer connect to my laptop so I only use them with my phone. I still have issues with them disconnecting from my phone so I just deal with it. However, this last week my right ear bud has started making loud noises no matter what environment I'm in. Of course I went to Bose customer service and my warranty has expired. Best they can do is have me send in my current headphones and try and fix them but I have to buy a new pair in order to do so. Seeing as a new pair is $200 and I just bought these for $325 I will not be sending my headphones in. I am gladly switching back to Beats.

Sounds great, but technology does not always work
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these over 6 months ago so have had plenty of time to give an honest review. I have to say that I have owned many Bose products and have alway been pleased. I had a pair of Bose Sports earbuds and several pairs of over the ear noise canceling Bose headphone and have never had any issues. And the sound of Bose has in my opinion always been superior to other brands I own like Apple AirPods and Sony. That said, these also sounds great. But the technology is problematic. I use these every day during workouts. And at least 40% of the time when I take them out of their case and put them in my ears, one will not connect. And about 10% of the time that I put them back in the case and take them back out, the other one does not connect. They are also hard to get out of their case. Not well designed. Generally they sound great but do not work all the time.

Not worth it
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They sound good, the ANC is superb, and the fit is good. That's where the praise ends. There's no wireless charging, no multipoint, subpar battery life and the connection is probably the worst I've ever seen in a pair of true wireless earbuds. It's really a roll of the dice if the buds will connect to my phone when I take them out of the case, or if they'll even stay connected to my phone. For this price, you're far better off getting the Sony WF-1000XM5

||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only reason its at two stars is becauae the ANC is the best IMO. Pros that it sounds good and its ANC. Cons: 1) never connects even after factory reset (never consisitant). 2) the headset doesnt always charge while in the case. 3) bluetooth they use in this device is so out of date it doesnt even connect to more than one device. They might twll you it has multi point connection but it disconects from the first device to reach the second. 4) how do you have wireless charging in the first model but not the most expensive model.
