I bought this as a Christmas gift. I chose it for a couple of reasons. I like the benefit of buying refurbished items. They tend to be less expensive, and any bugs have been worked out already. When I bought it, the ones on Amazon immediately went on sale for the same price, and were new. But oh well, that's life. It was still about 40 dollars cheaper than Amazon's original price. The sound is amazing, and the battery keeps a charge for a long time. Overall, I think this is a very good buy.
