    Connectivity issues, skipping issues, distance problems. I have to set the pair no further than a couple feet without connectivity or skipping issues. Amazing sound but worthless if all you hear is skipping and the sound cutting out. I own a lot of Bluetooth devices and non have the issues like this. A lot of my Bluetooth devices I can go up to 60 feet away and Bose should say, “distance = 1 foot”. Save your money, you spend way too much for it not to work properly.

    This speaker was great while it was working properly. It's got full, rich, well-balanced surround sound. It's a significant improvement over the next cheaper Bose option. However, after about a year and a half, I started having connectivity issues. Seemingly very randomly, it suddenly wouldn't connect to any of the two or three devices I use with it. I'd wipe the device list, shut it off, re-pair and it would usually work again. Now, it simply won't connect to certain devices no matter how many times I reset it to factory settings. I've had it for less than three years and it's just about unusable now. Not to sound TOO bitter, but I did expect more from the Bose name. Anyway, not a bad investment if you consider it more of a long-term rental.

    This is my third bose revolve portable. All three have failed within warranty period where unit would not charge and battery light flashes red. Excellent sound otherwise.

    We bought it to replace our Echo which died. We thought it made more sense to put the money towards a good wireless speaker. Which it would have been if this had lived up to its company's reputation; it did not. Mediocre sound and then it stopped charging less then three weeks after we bought it. Kind of defeats the purpose of a wireless speaker. Returned and just bought another Echo.

    NOT WORTH THE PRICE

    The sound is ok, but the price is not worth it. It seems to be well-built but I could probably get the same thing for no more than $40.00. I bought it during my state's Stay at Home Phase of CoVid-19, looking forward to improved sound for music during this difficult time. The store was not open and relied on a few reviews and the Brand.. I employ a professional IT specialist & he assisted me in setting it up. DO NOT buy this or any other item like this unless you are able to try it in person. I wish I could return it,

    Description shows Alexa enabled...but that is really misleading. You can Bluetooth connect to an echo device, but the device itself is not Alexa enabled. Not happy with this purchase and would like to return but my return window has apparently passed. Gave 2 stars because sound is decent. Also, if you have multiple devices connected via Bluetooth at once the playback is quite choppy, even if only 1 device is streaming audio.

    I bought this speaker specifically to pair with a Sony bluetooth record player. The record player itself does not have any volume buttons, so I was depending on the speaker to be able to adjust. However, when it is connected, the sound is SO LOW it really is not audible unless you have the speaker literally in front of you. It does seem to work fine when connected to my phone, but that's not why I bought it. Disappointing from a company like Bose.

      Hey,

      It sounds like your Sony turntable will need a pre-amp, to amplify the audio it is outputting, as the signal will be too weak.

      This is not an issue related to the SoundLink Revolve speaker.

    The sound from this speaker is amazing for the size. I love that it will tell you the battery charge %. Unfortunately after a little over a month of owning it it now won't charge. It initially wouldn't charge past 70% and now won't go past 30% since I used it down to 30%. This seems to be a known issue on the Bose community forums with no obvious solution despite some people sending it back to bose several times for servicing. And now they can't get a refund and are just stuck in an infernal service loop

    The Bose speakers were good indoors but outside they were hard to hear & with songs that had strong bass sounded very muffled in sound, I am very happy all around with UE boom speakers I own (2) UE Megaboom, (2) UE boom2 & (2) UE boom3. These speakers sound great indoors & outdoors, I would recommend these type of speakers.

    Sound is good, but not durable.I purchased this item knowing that the sound would be exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, I am a music teacher who travels to two different schools and and one fall, the entire unit quit working. Because I couldn’t read the serial number on the item and no longer have the box, Bose voided the warranty. Not thrilled.

    For a Bose speaker I thought it would be a lot louder. I guess when you can not go in the store because of the Wuyhan flu you get what you think will be good. It works fine but could have gotten a cheaper speaker and been as good!

Many customers have fed back how much they love the 360-degree sound and volume that the Revolve produces. Be sure to increase the volume on the connected device, and the speaker itself, using the controls on the top of the speaker.

    Won't work with Blue Tooth TV

    This really can't be a Bose product. The bass was not what I expected and the volume would not work once connected to a Samsung Blue Tooth TV. I've owned many Bose products and this is the only one I was not happy with I returned it the next day.

    The technology it comes with is cool. But overall it still suck the sound was low and not surround my beats pill way louder and for the price it cost better off getting a jbl or sony

    Crackling and issues with bluetooth connection

    Every time that I am charging my phone and listening to music through the speaker, The speaker crackles so badly to the point that I have to either turn the speaker off or disconnect the phone from the charger. Also, after the new update to the Bose Connect App, my speaker will automatically turn on every time that I even open my computer. I had to completely turn off Bluetooth on my computer which is a pain bc of the Bluetooth pen that I use.

    VERY disappointed! I had BOSE almost all my younger life. Had a SONY BLUETOOTH and needed to replace it. I jumped right at BOSE after reading the reviews. WOW! I was shocked. Almost no power, no " umph ". The sound was muddy. Not at all what I was expecting from BOSE. I returned it and went with JBL. A clear difference. Sorry BOSE..

    Was really excited to get this speaker, however upon opening the box I could tell that it just felt cheap. The sound quality was terrible, I’ve purchased $50 speakers that sounded better than this. Returned it a couple days later and saved my money on something else.

    Good sound, but I returned 3 times because of USB cable just half go through . Not like on the video. I paid $200 and I want everything will be in excellent and working condition. This is Defects what they have on that speaker.

    Works fairly okay when connected but the connection drops for no reason and often doesn’t reconnect. When one device is connected the speaker doesn’t seem to entertain other devices even when you “forget/disconnect” the initial device...
