I'm on my 2nd pair. While produce good sound for me, I can't stand that both pairs insulation of the cable started to crack and peel after about 1 to 2 years of having them. First pair I would leave in the car, but out of the sun through all season in the Midwest. I thought the extreme temperatures might have caused the cable to crack. My second pair I really babied them. Not kept in car at all. Sure enough these cracked and peeled too. So disappointed in Bose. I'm not buying anymore of these earbuds.

Only used a few times at the gym and already giving me problems. The volume goes up and by on it's own. I've tried it on different devices and it does the same thing. I used to be a big Bose fan, but have been having bad bad experiences with them. Also had to return the Wireless Bose Sound Sport, just got the replacement headphones in the mail.

These earbuds are ok. They are not $200 or $400 earbuds, so don't expect that kind of sound. Trebles and mid-range are not crystal clear like you would get with the more expensive earbuds, but for $100 or half that price which is what I paid on sale, these are ok. They sit on the ear rather than in the canal, so you cannot block out sound like the noise at a gym, etc. Personally, I don't like that, but you might not care. Try to get them on sale because imo they are overpriced at msrp.

The sound was great but it they only lasted 6 or 7 months. I've had apple ear pods that have lasted longer then that.

I treated these very carefully and still a year later the plug gave out, they weren't a very comfortable fit, but had the Bose sound.

Don't fall for hype or the name brand! I purchased these for my wife as a Christmas stocking gift. She mainly uses them to workout. But she started complaining that the sound did not sound loud enough. I tried them on and she was right! I tested them on her phone, my phone, my iPad and result was the same, very very low poor quality. My cheap JVC headphones sound way better than these! Don't bother with these headphones, you will be very disappointed with the sound they produce, or lack thereof.

DO NOT Purchase. They will last only a month or two before the 3.5 jack starts to corrode. I've owned 11 pairs, and almost all of those were replaced under warranty. The ones I purchased a month ago are now crap. Static in both ears, controls not working - the exact same issue for years. FIND ANOTHER BRAND! And Greg - From Bose Support, who commented on my previous post. Why don't you send this up to Bose to finally address and fix?

As others have mentioned, the jack and wire are fragile. After a few weeks of use I somehow bent the jack. One earpiece no longer works, and the other is intermittent depending on its precise adjustment when plugged in. I actually quite liked the performance of both the headphones and the microphone, but given the price and fragility I don't think it makes sense to re-buy...

Not working after two months. I contacted Bose support and they said to send them back and they will replace them It has been over two weeks and I still have not heard back from them. Bad customer service. Since then I have purchased Beats by Dre and am glad I did. So much better than Bose and also bought my wife a pair of Beats and she also switched from Bose. Don't buy these.

Faulty design

I have exchanged 3 pairs of these headphones to Bose for lack of sound in one ear. Finally my 4th pair came. Once again problems with extremely poor sound quality. I think there is a serious design flaw with these considering all 4 of them I’ve owned have stopped working properly after less than 1 year. I’ve had beats headphones and they have lasted 2 years with no such issues. I’m not sure how Bose can make such a bad product but I guess every company has their bad products.

Bad design. Not only do they keep falling out of my ears - they allow waaayyyy too much ambient noise, to the extent that the volume needs to be raised higher than normal just to hear anything.

Don't Buy

These earbuds are uncomfortable and sound like a tin can. Save your money and buy less expensive earbuds. The only reason I got them is because my dog chewed my $50 Sony bass boost ear buds. I'm going back and exchanging for them again.
