Awesome sound and fit, broke with my first use

I have several pairs of wired earphones and was thrilled to see that wireless was finally available. I bought them and took them for a run - fit was great, sound was great as well. Then, 30 minutes into the run, loud static started and got worse. I took them back and exchanged them for a new pair, and once again, 30 minutes into my first run with the new pair, static started, got louder and then the earbuds froze. So disappointed. Obviously not sweat proof.

While they’re delivering on this promise for the vast majority of owners, we’ve found that a small percentage of customers, like you, have experienced a problem under specific conditions related to extreme levels of sweat and moisture.
We’ve taken every SoundSport wireless headphone that’s been returned to us, tore them down in our labs, and now have a solution. Going forward, every SoundSport wireless headphone will include this update, and they'll be ready by the end of August.

I am glad to hear that you love the sound quality of the headphones, however I am sorry to hear that the volume isn't as loud as you would want it to be. I would highly recommend that you ensure that the volume you require it to be on both device and inside the Bose Connect App for the best results.
