Good sound, but poor build and battery quality

I have this paired to a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and to an LG LTE tablet (that I use as a data phone) and never have a connection problem. Sadly, however, the build quality is poor and the battery is unpredictable. I faithfully keep this unit in the carrying case when not in use. It's never been banged around or subjected to harsh conditions. Just the same, the plastic plate that says "Bose" on one of the earpieces fell off; also, the rubber cap over the micro USB port won't stay closed. As for the battery, I never know whether it will charge to 100% or to 30%, no matter how long I keep it plugged in. Battery life is totally unpredictable, keeping this headset from being something that I can rely on. I still keep a wired headset wrapped up in a briefcase pocket for those times when the Bose battery dies prematurely.
