However, I expected more from Bose and for the $1500 price tag. I purchased the sound bar and wireless subwoofer and although the system does produce clear, quality audio, it just does not have the power to push much volume with impactful bass in an open room. The sound starts to distort in the upper volume range. This is a great system for a small to mid sized room at best.

It worked great and the sound was amazing and so was the heavy bass. But I started getting this flashing yellow light that tells me the wireless connection to the bass box was lost. The sound still works but you still have that pesky flashing yellow light. A little research tells me this is a very common problem with apparently no fix. So unless you are extreme OCD this shouldn't bother you. On the other hand, if you pay that much for a sound system, it should work. ALL OF it work.
