Problems with ARC on Sumsung 4K HDTVs

I could only get soundbar to work with optical chord. I read blog on Bose Owners Community web site and learned of ARC interface problem that Bose has been working with Samsung to solve since beginning of November 2016. Didn't want to wait for software update solution. Returned soundbar and bought Samsung Dolby Atmos system. Next question asks if I would recommend this product to a friend, my answer is that I would make my friend aware of the Samsung interface problem.
