Connected the bar using the HDMI ARC cable & kept the headphones on the optical. The bar works fine with good Bose sound. But the headphones don't work with it. Very disappointed & will be returning to Best Buy for a full refund.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After a subpar experience with another brand's soudbar, decided to give Bose a try- I've always had good luck with their products, and felt that the higher price was justified by the impeccable sound quality. Boy, was I wrong on this. Also bought the matching subwoofer with this, totaling over $1,500- what did that get me? About three days of frustration and ultimately, a returned product. The sound quality was SO much worse than I'm used to hearing from Bose. The mids were muffled, the highs were non-existent, and the subwoofer, while it could shake the walls, only did so on extremely low notes; other bass was basically non-existent, even at the highest setting. Returned and purchased the JBL Bar 3.1. It's also not a perfect 10, but for $1100 less, it blew away every expectation I had of it. Save your money, buy the JBL. -

I could use a small external sub woofer and sound much better. Detail was ok like a typical Bose, but that was it. It is OK I would highly recommend the Sony Atmos sound bar with sub, that is what I ended up with. But the Bose is still a nice OK sound bar.

In spite of telling the salesperson exactly what I was trying to do - mount it on the wall underneath an existing screen, this product has NO attachment for a wall mount and MUST be placed on a table. I had to return it. Bought a GREAT Sonos system elsewhere.

Unfortunately this did not fix the problem so at this point I would have a difficult time recommending this product , which is a shame because I am a huge Bose fan . Disappointing!!
