The Bose® - Soundtouch® 300 Soundbar by itself is hands down better than any stock TV speakers and for the price tag it should be. Out of the box I had it operational in about 30 minutes total. Sound fills the room and emulates a much larger surround sound system. Where this system excels is when you add the wireless subwoofer. Connectivity to you TV is achieved via HDMI (ARC) or digital optical cable both of which are included. ADAPTiQ set up is simple and allows almost a turn key operation with little fuss. The BOSE connect ap, bluetooth pairing work flawlessly to provide music to the system. The soundbar itself is meant to sit on a horizontal surface and appears to have limited mounting options so that should be considered. Although the system is pricey all together it easily replaces a component system. The sound fills the room and placement of the subwoofer is very flexible. I would highly recommend this system.

Music sounds great. Television and movie sound was off. Sounded like sound and voices were pushed through a cardboard tube. Did not have the bass set up and the acoustics of the room may have effected the sound. Returned soundbar after 30 days. Sound did not match the price

I have been a huge supporter of Bosr and their products for many years. Almost every speaker and headphone I own are manufactured by Bose. I purchased a curved 4K Samsung 8500 series tv. I researched soundbars and felt that the Bose 300 would be a good choice. I was wrong. Unfortunately the Bose did not always recognize the tv and worked on an intermittent basis. After troubleshooting the problem on Bose website I discovered that this was an ongoing issue and several others were having the same problem. The only fix was to disconnect all the hdmi and power cords in order to reset the equipment. After being forced to do this several times a day , I decided to return this soundbar and purchase the Samsung HW-K850. No problems with this and it comes with a subwoofer.

It's 2018 and Bose is still selling $500+ soundbars without an equalizer? This soundbar is great for music and that's about it. If you're playing video games or watching movies, the treble will absolutely drown out the mid, and there is no way to fine tune it.
