Nice Sound Bar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great sound bar. The build is great and it looks wonderful! The sound is good, my only issues is that you have no control over the treble. The app for it is a little out of date. But to get the best sound from this you need the sub. This has to be one of the best sound bars out at this time! If you need a good sound bar and have the means I would recommend you looking at the Bose.

Impressive for a soundbar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't sure what to expect when I got this soundbar. I haven't used one before and was really wanting one. The main area in our house where we use this soundbar is a large room with vaulted ceilings so the acoustics aren't all that great. I have a 55" Vizio television with the speakers on the back and unless the sound is turned up ridiculously high I have a hard time hearing some things on the tv. This soundbar went way beyond my expectations. Even now I can hear every sound without having to turn the volume up so high. I have even watched a few programs that I have watched before without the bar and could hear a lot of little things that I missed before. The setup was pretty straight forward. You just plug it in and go. There was a headset included that you wear on your head and sit in five different locations in the room so it can calibrate the optimum sound for all viewers. The cord was very long and I didn't have a hard time reaching any place in the room with it. The furthest I tested it out was about 20 feet and still had some slack in the cord. The remote is easy to use and it has codes to work for my television and the DirecTv box. The low and mid sounds are great and it has plenty of bass for what we need, which is to watch television and the occasional movie. I know that an additional subwoofer can be connected to the bar for someone who might like a lot more bass. I did use the bluetooth feature and connected my smartphone and played music through the soundbar and it provided and rich, clear sound. I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends. I'm happy with the soundbar and would turn to Bose again for any audio needs.

Soundbar of your DREAMS!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start off saying, if you want the "movie theater" experience - look NO further! Bose has always been said to be hands down the sound experts, but with this soundbar, they out did themselves! This sound bar will have you feeling butterflies from the pit of your stomach. Don't get me wrong, the noise is nothing you can't handle and it is not hurtful to your ears at all. It sets the mood for what you are watching and seriously makes you feel like your ARE there. Simple put, its amazing! The set up couldn't be easier. The sound bar literally comes fully together, minus a few cords that are placed into sound bar and then directly into your TV. I will say the sound bar is longer than most - so be sure you have an area that will be able to house this sound bar comfortably. It is not heavy however but will stay put. Within a matter of minutes you will be experiencing something I have been calling, dreamy! With it having Bluetooth, this sound bar goes from amazing to something out of this world, if you have wifi availabl.! The system can connect to a home network via an Ethernet cable or WiFi and can access online content such as music from Amazon Music, Deezer, iHeartRadio, Pandora, SiriusXM, Spotify, and audio from network-connected PCs and Android and Apple mobile devices. What sound bar does that? This model is SO smart it comes with an on-board auto-calibration system (with included microphone) that can automatically adjust the sound bar's tonal balance to better match the listening room. Guys (and gals) this product is legendary and worth every penny in my eyes. It will turn your "loud" tv into a tv that sets the mood just right.

Outstanding Soundbar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installed soundbar using the HDMI ARC connection on a Sony X85C(4K TV). Ran HDMI from X1 cable box as input to soundbar. The firmware update on the soundbar is a MUST in my opinion. Before i did the update, sound was very low. After the update, it was spectacular! WiFi, Bluetooth, and sub-woofer pairing all working very well with no problems. Biggest issue i had was understanding I had to use the sync function on the Sony to get sound back to the soundbar. User error. Expensive, yes. Is it really worth the bucks? Absolutely!!

soundbar of the century
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When receiving the Bose Soundbar 300 I was expecting just a little sound to boost the TV or play music through my living room. Boy was I surprised when my house inside and out was filled with sound without using Maximum volume. There is some type of sonic device that allows you to calibrate the soundbar to work the best in your home. To me it seemed like a dolphins echo locator. After completing that task the sound bounced off the walls. I would watch a movie and feel like I am at the theaters. The quality of the speaker gets a big fat 100% it is sturdy a little heavy but not to bad. I do not have to worry about my kids breaking it. The Bose Soundbar 300 surpassed all quality standards I had in mind. The design is perfect, the Bose Soundbar 300 fit right under my TV with no problem. The Bose Soundbar 300 did not take to much room everyone that came but was amazed at the sound that came from that little bar. My soundbar is very easy to use not to mention the remote control is universal with all the codes located in the manual. I can't say that it was lacking in any features due to it going over and beyond what I could have imagined. My daughters love having dance parties blasting music on the our Bose Soundbar 300. I recommend this product to all family and friends. i love this product

Fantastic, room filling sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start off my saying that I'm a fan of all things Bose. Every piece of audio equipment I own is Bose, and I find it hard to stray to anything else. This product is absolutely no exception. I'm coming from a Cinemate 1SR - which was, and still is one of the most fantastic sound bars I have ever listened to or owned. The SoundTouch 300 exceeds the performance of the 1SR, even without the need of an added Acoustimass module. There is deep, deep bass coming out of that tiny, slim sound bar. I hope I am able to get the wireless subwoofer to get the full experience one of these days soon. I don't yet have the wireless surrounds, but this does a wonderful job of throwing sound all over the room, even without them. Simply put, this one single piece of the puzzle will amaze you. The vocals are so crystal clear, and the music is so amazingly present, that it genuinely feels as if you're sitting in a full sized movie theater. Acoustic guitars sound so bright and open that you can hear the contact of the pick on the strings. Drums have a dynamic, resonating sound that can't be described, it has to be experienced to be believed. Overall, this product is a HUGE win. The only down side is that it was a bit time consuming to get up and running on my WiFi, but once I got the app installed on my iPad, it was a breeze. I would highly, highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for home theater sound in a sophisticated, elegant package, without having to wire everything all over your living room. A++

Absolutely P-H-E-N-O-M-E-N-A-L
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I made the mistake of initially going with a cheap Samsung soundbar with my new LG OLED and it was horrific to say the least. I'm actually thankful one of the rear speakers broke down after just a few weeks but within the exchange window so I decided to jump all the way to the best there is. Not only is the sound phenomenal but it adds a lot of value to my new OLED 4K because without a great sound system you're not really experiencing everything you're meant to enjoy with Dolby surround sound and Atmos. I had some issues pairing at first but their phenomenal customer service spent well over an HOUR dedicated to making sure everything was working great (i.e. don't forget to turn on your CEC permissions). Love the app, Pandora sounds amazing and love all the features it controls. Got the Acoustimass Bass and together they're....I just don't have the words. If you can splurge the 1400 for the set don't think just get it! Can't wait to complete the set with the rear speakers.

Only soundbar on the market to rival analouge
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased three months ago. Went from a Sony HTCT-790 (which don't get me wrong, it was wonderful) to this. Set up intimidated me at first, but quite frankly, it was surprisingly easy. The headset helped match the room to a 5.0 channel system, mapping 6 points in the room to verify a front, rear and center channel system. At first, wasn't terribly impressed. Was a little disappointed at the jump in product after the demo in store. Then I popped in a new bluray that was specked with 7.1 coding and I turned around trying to find what was speaking behind me. Turns out it was the soundbar. This is the first digital sound system I'd say clearly rivals an analogue 5.1 system. Subwoofer isn't mandatory, but the clarity and warmth that you gain when you couple it together are mind-blowing. The fidelity and the clarity are insane. I've rocked it (as hard as one can in an apartment complex) and ran it softly as others try sleep and have always been impressed. Worth every single penny.

Auditory hallucination apparatus.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing will stimulate your senses. It’s crisp, clear, “round” sounding and good looking. Very easy to set-up (except for WiFi) and has potential for growth. So far, we’re absolutely happy with just a soundbar but I can see why someone would want some more bass and surround. I tested and returned two soundbars prior to this one, but what made me keep it was looks and how clear it sounds. Very happy with the purchase.

Next t.v. WON’T be a Samsung !
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had my Samsung UH Definition TV (8550) for a few years. I’m generally satisfied with it. The software updates from Samsung played havoc but I reset the T.V. and everything was good again. And I thought it was about time to get surround sound and a subwoofer. And I always liked Bose. even if it was $1400 for the sound bar and subwoofer.. BIG MISTAKE ! It’s like 2bullies in a school yard. They don’t work together....at first it works. But it’s an illusion, so never will for long. The optical cable negates any audio benefit of it being a Bose. ....but I still love Bose, even if the instruction manual is a confusing mess wrapped in a farce. (Pssst. Hey, Bose, find out who was on the team responsible for writing the manual and fire their illiterate butts!) I blame Samsung for INTERNATIONALLY making their product hard for third parties to work in tandem. My next tv will be an OLED. Guess what it won’t be? It won’t be a Samsung! One other thing, Bose. What the heck is up with your app which you recommended in your manual? I can’t uninstall it from the Soundbar! It doesn’t even recognize my iTunes! You guys -know- that more than 50% of the phone market share is DOMINATED by Apple. Your app should have auto connect with Apple devices. Talk about alienating your audience. Again, fire your app team for their not considering this agenda. (Maybe hire me. I’m not exceptionally bright, but even I can see these solutions clearly.

love this!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using my Soundbar for a couple weeks now. We had been downsizing from moves & was looking for a simple system that would still provide quality sound. This is perfect. The bar was just the right size to tuck into our media center, so it doesn't distract from the room décor. Setup was quick & painless. Within 30 minutes, I had the system connected to the TV and also the Bluetooth on my phone. Once it was hooked up, all we had to do is turn on the TV & the Bose started right up without turning on another device. I love connecting my music on my cell to the Bluetooth. The sound resonates and fills the room. Regardless of the genre I am listening to, you can clearly hear the different tones. Even when songs play through only one side, you can hear it bouncing around the room. Watching movies is no different. I enjoy a good explosion, and the sound quality does not disappoint.

OUTSTANDING!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased my unit approximately 60-days ago. I had stopped in the store for another need and browsed around, as usual. I came across the Bose SoundTouch 300 Soundbar and spent the next 30 minutes demoing the soundbar alone and then with the bass subwoofer. The sound was incredible by itself, however, if you are a true movie connoisseur, the bass subwoofer was a WOW! I decided to purchase the entire system to include the two rear surround speakers. Setup is quick and easy. There is no comparison with the Bose system! I do not write reviews very often, but felt that I had a responsibility to the consumers to tell like it is. PURCHASE the system. You will NOT be disappointed. I have a 70" 4K television and the Bose 4K pass through makes 1080p viewing that much more enjoyable.

The Best Soundbar!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To my surprise this soundbar was one of the easiest things I have ever set up. I live in a apartment , so my living room is not that big, so I started with the headset which was super easy and fun to do, after that I was set and ready to go, it basically did everything itself, and the sound was so AWESOME!!! I also download the app to my kindle fire and with a press of the button on the remote it started playing my favorite music!! I was super surprised. I have asked my neighbors if they can hear it when I turned the sound way up and they have said they hear nothing, but I hear it perfectly. This is great product and I would recommend it.

Nice sound but hard setup, poor documentation
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned several Bose products in the past, including the original Wave Radio way back when. I love the sound of Bose audio. I'm no audiophile but for my purposes, Bose sounds great and loud. The same holds true for the Soundtouch 300. In that department, it does not disappoint. However, the setup was quite difficult and buggy in terms of getting it connected to wifi to the point that I finally just resolved to do a hardwire ethernet connection (which required me purchasing a switch to accomodate). I found the documentation lacking in terms of troubleshooting the issues I was having and, as others have mentioned, I don't think Bose has quite updated their app nor online docs with Soundtouch 300 specifics. I'm sure the issues I was having will be resolved with some kind of future firmware update, so I would still recommend this for purchase albeit with the caveats mentioned above.
