The bar has a nice design, the sound is awesome but lacks the bass, need the bass module. The operation is really easy, you can stream music or control from your phone. Easy installaion, don't recommend the ARC connection but the optical, is the best signal for the soundbar.

I love bose but connecting the other wireless devices lets just say it’s not wireless because there’s wires attached to the speakers still, so I returned it. But I would recommend Bose to friends.

Bought the sound bar because we had no speakers/entertainment system whatsoever and I made the best choice. This paired with the subwoofer make movies and music 100000x better.

The Bose Soundtouch 300 soundbar impressed me right out of the box. It has a nice glossy tempered glass top and metal grilles on the front and the two sides for a luxurious, contemporary look and feel. It connects to your television two ways: through the HDMI or via an optical connection. It will also connect to mobile devices and computers through bluetooth, NFC, and your wifi network. Initial setup took less than 10 minutes as you put on a wired headset and let the ADAPTiQ system sample 5 separate locations of your choosing in order to optimize the sound quality to your room. The audio quality is simply superb and well balanced. Bass is very clean and does not overpower the highs and mids. Also there is no distortion to the bass when volume is turned up. You may be wondering whether or not the bass is adjustable. Yes it is adjustable, though it is not obvious unless you read through the online user manual. There are five bass settings from -2,-1,0 (default),+1,+2. The adjustments to the bass are made through the supplied universal remote control. Press the bass button on the remote control and press the volume up or volume down buttons to toggle the bass up or down respectively. You will see the corresponding bass level on one of five indicator lights on the front panel of the soundbar. Press the bass button again to save the bass setting. I also like that the soundbar can wifi-connect to music streaming apps like Pandora, Spotify, iHeartRadio, etc. with the Soundtouch app. A major advantage of the soundtouch 300 system is that it is expandable and can grow with your audio needs. The base unit is the soundbar and you can continue to add soundtouch speakers, and the acoustimass 300 for extra bass. Overall, the Bose Soundtouch 300 soundbar has a wide soundstage with strong bass in a slim and contemporary looking unit. It may be expensive, but well worth it!

The acoustics of this speaker are incredible! I use it for movies, TV, video games, and as a stereo. I did lots of research and the reviews are true, this is one of the best products on the market.

Hooked it up first time with Optical cable but discovered it works better with an HDMI hooked to the ARC input. Had to search a little but found you can adjust the bass up or down +\- 4 with the remote.

I recently added the Bose sound bar and subwoofer to our new Sony TV. Well worth the purchase! I think that once we add the rear speakers, it'll feel like being at the movies!

Sounds good until you put it next to some really great speakers. That said, I am happy with the purchase as I had no illusion about the quality. I knew what I was getting. The speaker is for use with movies not music.

We were concerned to buy a sound bar to replace our surroundsound but this is a great bar and we can add other items as needed later! We are excited about the Bose sound quality for a music and movies !

I bought this for my dad for Christmas and he was overjoyed and in love with it. We set it up at his house and the sound coming from it was unbelievable to the point I'm buying one for myself.

its not that good than I thought but still work good

I used this soundbar with my Sony xbr930D 4K TV and it did not work well with it. The TV would keep shutting it self off when I had this hooked up HDMI. It just kept getting worse. I finally un hooked everything and my TV went back to normal with no issues. So for some reason it did not like the sound bar so I returned it and went with the Sony HT NT5 which sounded just as good as the Bose if not better and have had no issues at all.

You get what you pay for with anything. Especially technology. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for this soundbar. It’s well worth the cost. Bose delivers crisp clear sound.

Great upgrade/replacement for an aging Bose 3-2-1. Love the Amazon Alexa skill...can easily tell Alexa to play music from my Pandora or Amazon accounts and it sounds so good through the SoundTouch.

Great sound. Only problem was didn't work with my new LG tv. Couldn't hook up to hdmi and have two sources plugged in at the same time. There is a problem with the software inside the speaker itself. Hopefully future updates will fix. Used optical connection works fine.

The soundbar is perfect for my living room and my 65" Curved Panel. However, due to the recent bug Bose have with the newer models Samsung TV, the HDMI ARC connection sometimes drops. If Bose and Samsung figure out how to fix this permanently, this is gonna be perfect!

I have a fairly large living room and kitchen area. With the set up I can hear the TV at any area of both the rooms and the quality is unmatched by any system I have used in the past.

I bought the full 5.1 setup and I wasn't super happy. For the price I would have expected better. Sub was good and sound bar was pretty good too. Satellite speakers are not great, they have a huge box on the wire and you need to spend additional money to mount them.

I've been a fan of Bose for quite some time now and I've never been disappointed with my purchase from Best Buy. Great Product and I will be getting the subwoofer as well in the near future!

Enhances TV experience... by making TV sound better. I also finally have a way to play my over 50 gigs of music on my computer in the study to the living room. I plan on adding the base unit and the rear speakers in he near future to enhance the sound even more.
