I bought one of these for my husband to use in the TV room. It was so easy to install and has such excellent sound that I bought another one to use in our living room! Don't hesitate - buy it!!!

Has awesome sound, fills the room and makes it feel like you're in the movie. Have also used it outside with my projector for boxing fights and football games and performance was excellent

After you spend a bunch of money on a beautiful TV, it's a big disappointment to hear how they sound. This fixes it. If you like to watch movies, one of theses really isn't even an option.

The sound bar and sub sounds awesome together. The setup was a little tricky. I had to put this device on my head like I was trying to talk to aliens or something. But in the end, it works great

The sound bar has great sound, but the wireless speakers were only deigned for ambiant noise. You can't adjust their volume independently and they carry no dialogue. Overall they are fine for surround sound.

This sound bar has greatly exceeded my expectations, good crisp, clear sound that just does not disappoint. Music sounds very rich streaming through it as well. Very classy looking.

It looks and sounds nice. It was super easy to set up. The Bluetooth range is weak; I have to set my laptop right next to it so that it will work to stream music. For the price it should come with the base.

The BOSE soundbar is a welcome addition to our home. it provides not only cinema quality sound when watching movies, but it allows us to play music from our phones with the click of a button.

Bose has not disappointed with this soundbar. It is awesome with the base alone but adding the speakers is the finishing touch for anyone seeking a top shelf system. Absolutely love it

If you are looking for a all in one unit that will improve your TVs sound, this is it. You can get better sound if you want to add speakers to it. I like Bose for it voice quality. I think it has a great feature with that button to clear up the voices.

I'm sure the soundbar works wonderfully but for me not enough options. This bar is ran by an application that is difficult to stay connected to and if you can't connect the app you have no control over the soundbar. And believe me I had a lot of issues hooking up to app. Might be jaded just because I came from a 7.1 surround sound system which is what I return to after returning all components. I had bought the soundbar, the sub, and the rear speakers from Bose. The sound quality just wasn't there. After doing a bit more research if you do have a room where you can sit smack dab in the middle of it and I assume you would be emerged in sound. All I got was a blaring soundbar.

I'm happy with my purchase, Very easy to set up and connect. it even gives audible instructions so it's nearly impossible to mess things up! the sound quality as always is exceptional.

Haven't purchased the subwoofer yet, but after knowing the quality of just the sound bar alone, it's a MUST! Only downfall is sometimes the remote isn't universal and it has to be reset.

I first bought Bose 901s in 1974 in the BX in the Philippines. Best speaker I ever had. Have Bose 321 system in one house and now the sound bar in the other one. I am 73 years young.

Paired with subwoofer in a high ceiling, hardwood floor home theatre setup. The headset sound calibration for five prime seating locations was easy to perform and the results sound great.

Excellent sound as expected from Bose. More inputs would be nice as I traded this for my Yamaha amp and there is only one optical and one hdmi input. Bluetooth is nice but very short range. I walk into the next room and it looses connection immediately

First off, I always looked at soundbars as a cheap solution to improve the quality of a TV. That being said, I'll go directly into the cons but please stay with me before you decide you shouldn't consider a soundbar. Bose SoundTouch 300 is too big for TVs smaller than 50 inches and it is not good if your TV is inside a cabinet because its right and left sides need at least 5 feet away from anything to create the effect it is designed for; otherwise, you will be disappointed. It has only 2 HDMI ports. One uses HDMI ARC which should be plugged to a compatible port on your TV for best experience. Only one of my TVs had that port but the soundbar comes with an optical cable that I connected to the TV without ARC. However, there's only one HDMI input for everything else, so you should consider that especially if your TV doesn't have enough HDMI ports for other devices that you may want to connect to it. You probably could add an HDMI hub to fix that but it is a bit disappointing that Bose did not include more input ports. The other big disappointment is the app for iPhone. It is great when it works but it often can't find the soundbar for no reason at all. Now to the pros. Setup was extremely easy. There's an ADAPTiQ calibration system that is supposed to customise the speaker's sound to match any room. It worked in both rooms I tried. Because I love good sound just as much as I love picture quality which shouldn't be surprising since two of my hobbies are photography and music, I would never consider a soundbar for my TV. That is until I tried this SoundTouch 300 for my bedroom TV. I was so impressed that I decided to test it in my living room where I had a full home theater setup with 6 speakers. It created a surround sound so impressive that I thought my original setup was still on. But it was just this soundbar. I then added the Bose Accoustimass 300 Wireless Bass Module which is a sub-woofer. It made the distortion-free bass level go from full bodied to insanely bassy. It filled the room with a cinema-like sensation, even with sounds from behind. I was sold. I replaced my existing home theater setup with it. I still can add more Virtually Invisible 300 (that's how Bose call it) wireless speakers and I will but most people will probably decide they don't need any more than the two pieces I mentioned. However, it has multi-room capabilities, so you might want to add more speakers just for that. The universal remote is useful and simple to use. The soundbar supports playback via Bluetooth but it also has Wi-Fi connectivity which supports Pandora, Amazon Music and internet radios and you can preset up to 6 stations that you change just by pressing a number on the remote or select it through the app. You can also stream directly from any computer with Windows 7 or above which was a feature that I discovered when I tried to run a music file on my computer. The computer saw the soundbar automatically and gave me the option "Send To Bose SoundTouch". For those who appreciate looks, it has a superb piano-like sheen finish. Smudges are a possibility but why would you touch it? The best sound bar on the market today. It has many different uses, from great sound without a bass box to listen to your music from your IPhone thru Bluetooth. It's worth every penny

This is by far the best sound bar. You really do not have to do anything when ut comes to adjusting the sound bc it does a phenomenal job when it's programmed in the beginning..

This sound bar is great but you really should get the matching sub woofer with it. Luckily I am a good carpenter because the mounting instructions are pretty much useless.
