I was hesitant with getting this soundbar because it does not come with a woofer. But I am very satisfied with the bass the bar alone produces.

Got the Bose sound bar with wireless surround and sub woofer this is a amazing system. I previously had towers and this kicks as much butt .

The Soundtouch 300 Soundbar by Bose is, simply put, one of the best soundbars that I have ever listened to. It offers room filling sound and once you run the AdaptIQ setup the sound quality doesn't change no matter where you are in the room. Setup was relatively easy and the design is beautiful. Compared to other soundbars I have owned, this unit is slim and sleek in black with a black glass top. It's a fingerprint magnet but there's not much reason to touch it so it shouldn't be a problem. It also comes with a microfiber cloth for wiping it clean just in case. The remote control, which can be programmed as a universal remote, has more buttons than any other soundbar remote I've owned. It's a full size remote, not a credit card size remote, and it is relatively simple in it's layout. I also recommend downloading the Soundtouch App to connect to the soundbar and adjust settings and connect it to WiFi. One thing I would note, because it's not mentioned in any manuals, is that connecting to WiFi requires the Soundtouch App. Also, once you open the Soundtouch App and are ready to get started, you need to push the Soundtouch button on the remote. It's the music note with several lines behind it. If you don't push that button, the soundbar will never be found on the WiFi network. None of the manuals tell you that so it took some trial and error to figure it out. My only complaint with this soundbar is that it doesn't appear to switch sources automatically from what I've noticed in my use. I have it connected to the TV via optical cable and Bluetooth to a couple of phones. If I'm running the TV through it and then turn it off, the next time I use it, it's still on the TV, even if the TV is off and my phone is on with Bluetooth. You need to push the Bluetooth button on the remote to switch sources. This is a minor issue and for many people, it's probably not an issue. Overall, this is an outstanding soundbar in many respects. It has good bass and speakers all around for room filling sound. However, if you want the true experience, you need the Subwoofer that goes with this set. When that is connected, it will shake the room. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality soundbar. I have had 3 others that were in that $250-350 range and while they were good, they don't stand up to this unit.

I was picking between the Bose and Sonos and the Bose sound bar bass, without the additional sub woofer, was much deeper. I have a small house and didn't want to rattle the windows and this did the job.

You have to get it. Was going to go for the Sonos but the Bose was perfect for what I was looking for. Don’t perfect the bass too!

The sound bar is very sleek and slim. The most amazing sound from such a small package. I am looking forward to adding the bass next.

True to Bose reputation, this sound bar is fabulous. I don't have a Theatre room so the 300 was perfect for my use.

very good for movies even without the sub. Have a dedicated music system so I don't use it for music often, but it certainly is good for background tunes while I do other things around the house.

Although many may disagree, Bose has never failed if you consider the price points with all their products. They persist in what they do.
