This device made streaming much easier and it sounds great as well.

This is great I can now listen to music away from the computer.

Wanted another Soundtouch System to pair with my SoundTouch® 30 Series III wireless music system, but really didn't want to spend another $500 (or even as little as $200 for the Soundtouch 10) and put it right next to my existing Entertainment Surround System. So, for $150 that issue is remedied and pairs my Surround System in concert with my Soundtouch 30 to play all the music on My Cloud Expert Series EX2 Ultra 16GB NAS Drive. Set-up was easy as it simply plugged in and paired through the Soundtouch App. Highly recommend this simple solution to bring your existing speaker system into concert with Bose's Soundtouch technology.

Extremely easy to setup and use with powered speakers and you are able to start and stop music via the app anywhere in the house and not have to worry about connecting Bluetooth Works great with XM Radio

Purchased a Bose Soundbar 300, sub, and surround speakers. Having this attached to our Wave Radio makes it fairly easy to have music everywhere. The setup wasn't too hard. If you have steaming services (Amazon Music, Spotify, etc) there are presets on the remote and or app. Being wireless its easy to place nearly anywhere.

I had been looking for something to make my bose bluetooth work once the piece that came with it stopped working. Since bose stopped making the piece they recommended this. It works excellently.

It's one of my favorites audio streamers out there very simple to use, and also to configure, the best is you can connect it wirelessly, so you don't have to run extra wires.

This worked fantastic. It was simple to install, connect to my wifi, and then add my old receiver to the rest of my Bose Soundlink system. Great sound and simple to use.

I ran it thru my existing vcr player. It gives us incredible sound throughout the house on our ceiling speaker system. Very easy to install and a great value!

So, after buying a brand spanking new smart TV, I didn't have a good way of connecting it to my older stereo system (Onkyo Receiver with Bose speakers). I stumbled upon this happy little accident at my local Best Buy in the surplus section for $45. That was better than a fully wired brand, so bought it. Set up was a cinch. Now I have Bose stereo sound coming out for movies & music!!!! I'm satisfied with the product, but I think it's fair to explain a shortcoming or 2. Why 4 stars? Here's the reasons. 1. If you own the Soundtouch 10/20/30 & attempt to sync it to this for a surround sound experience, you'll be fine in audio, but there will be lag streaming video (2-3 seconds). Was in sync 1 time & 1 time only. I moved my Soundtouch 10 to the bedroom to use on that TV. Going to experiment with a 2nd 10, pair em together with the app & see how it sounds. 2. If I turn the TV off, I have to Bluetooth pair the device again in the TV's audio menu. Minor inconvenience, but 1 worth noting. 3. App itself is good, not great. Feels a bit clunky. Haven't streamed audio from the app itself (Iheart, Pandora, etc...) since I do from the TV's, so can't speak on that. Can try it & update later if someone is interested. Maybe I'm being too critical. Couple of minor inconveniences, but overall, very satisfied with the product.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to convert a older non Bluetooth capable device into a Bluetooth Wireless device.

Added this to an older Bose system. Worked so well I bought a second unit to attach to my Yamaha receiver at the front of the house. Haven't figured out how to use whole home option with Alexa. (Alexa works well thru one unit at a time.) Whole home music can be played thru the Soundtouch app or thru my Apple Music account on my computer. Great way to get the latest technology without having to upgrade all speakers and equipment. Units come with an RCA cable and Optical Cable. Very helpful. Easy set up. Enjoy your music!

I plugged this into my receiver and it pumps sound throughout the room. I have other soundtouch speakers in other rooms, but this is the best room to listen in since I have 5.1 speakers. If you have an extender, you may have difficulties staying connected. If you plan on having more than 1 speaker playing simultaneously, I suggest only putting this on 1 internet 2.4 or 5.0. Not both.

This is a great item. Works like advertised and never had issues. I ended up returning this since I wished to port my T.V. Signal into my BOSE Cinamate system. It is not designed for that."AT LEAST NOT FOR BOSE" It did allow me to send music from my phone into that same system. I ended up buying two pairs of SoundTouch-10 speakers and linking them in stereo. Great for music. This item has its place and works better than others I have used. It gave me no issues!

The wi-fi and bluetooth access are great, good app for the smartphone - but was dissapointed with sound quality. Wanted to use it with my home theater and tried all types of connections (even optical), but sound quality did not even match what I get from other much less expensive products. Thought the product was geard towards "all Bose" setup, but I tested with a Wave system in my bedroom - and again, I get better quality (power, clarity, etc) from my smartphone. I expected more for the price. If price were half or less, I would recommend.

This bridges my old school tech with the digital age. I can now listen to music throughout my house on built in speakers without a costly upgrade, all from my phone. I like the SoundTouch products a lot. Only minor complaint is when I got a new WiFi router, it got confusing trying to reconnect it-but mostly just user error.

Most companies keep updating their items so quickly that your new piece of technology becomes ancient and outdone within a couple of months. Boss finally made this piece which kept us from buying a whole new Bluetooth version of the great speaker that we already had. Our whole house runs off of SoundTouch including our outdoor boss speakers. This system is so easy and wireless! Works off wifi. Great great addition to the bose family!
