I have used numerous different brands of around the ear noise reduction headphones but the sound quality and other features do not compare to Bose for me! I have worked in medical transcription for 35+ years and need good quality headphones with exceptional clarity and Bose provides just that. Nice long cords, adjustable head size and comfort on the ears as I use them 10+ hours every day! Love them!

I really enjoy these headphones! I use them to practice electric guitar and they are wonderful for minimizing sound when people are sleeping or busy in my household. They don't sit very tight so if you shake your head alot listening to music, they might fall off. They are fantastic for listening on the go and are easy to adjust for your comfort and fit. I would recommend them to anyone who's looking for a great quality sound, noise canceling, and comfortable headphones. The price matches the quality of bose products. For guitarists- headphones do not come with adapter for an amp. It would require and $3 adapter purchase.

The true sound range is the nicer headphones available. Passive Noise cancellation and very very comfortable to use for prolonged use.

After 2 years, it works as a brand new headphone, alaways good as a bose product.

I think with something like headphones, it's important to make clear where you're coming from as a user. I am not an audiophile. I have never spent more than thirty bucks on a pair of headphones and usually just listen to streaming talk radio on my phone with cheapola earbuds that I got at the discount store. My purpose in getting these headphones was to help me concentrate on work by isolating me from outside noise and letting me listen to non-distracting music/radio/whatever to help me focus at the computer. I did research and narrowed my search down to Bose SoundTrue (within a reasonable price range, had what I was looking for), either the around-the-ear or on-ear... with the in store try-on being the deciding factor, as I wear glasses and comfort around the ears was extremely important. That background in place--I am really and truly glad I invested in these headphones. Not only do they meet my purpose in helping me concentrate, but I have actually started to appreciate music again. Obviously, the quality of anything you listen to will be dependent not just on the headphones or speakers you're using, but the quality of the medium, type/size of music file, hardware, etc. But going back through my music library has been an absolute joy. Not only did I buy new headphones, but I feel like I also now have a whole new music collection to (re)discover as if I'd never really heard it before. Having a high quality pair of headphones has rekindled a love of music that I haven't had in a really long time. So far, the best experiences I've had listening with these have been to instrumental works, but some of the pop music I had has also turned out to be more interesting than I thought it was, now that I can hear the additional layers. While these have no electronic "noise cancellation" feature, I found that the around-the-ear nature of these very comfortable headphones do a great job of blocking out noise and letting you concentrate on what you're listening to. Rather than continue gushing... I'll just leave it at this. I'm glad I made this investment. I'm truly enjoying listening to music with these headphones (and I have used them for phone calls too--works great). They were pricey compared to what I've spent on audio before, but for me, it turned out to be well worth it. If you are an audiophile with a habit of listening to your music on superior equipment... well, I have no experience with that, so it's hard for me to say comparatively how you would feel about these. But for me--I love them!

These headphones have amazing sound and are well worth the huge price tag. They are not completely noise canceling but they do block out some noise around me. I have fallen asleep with them on and it has not left any marks or discomfort like most headphones do. The case is a really nice addition. It is well made and fits in my backpack perfectly. I love that the headphone jack cord is removable from the headphones. I have had many things break because the cord is not removable and the cord ends up fraying. I have heard sounds in songs that I didnt know were there until I got these.

We purchased these speakers for our son who is doing online school this year. They do a great job canceling background noise, even though they aren't the $100 more noise canceling model. The audio quality is excellent. They are very light weight, and seemingly durable. I was never a fan of Bose speakers, I honestly thought they were an overpriced gimmick, but I am starting to think differently especially with these headphones. Compared to the competition, I believe these are the best sound for the price, and not just a fancy letter on each ear piece.

First over-the-ear headphone purchase, and I couldn't be happier. There are so many options in the $75-$100 price range, but why settle for mediocrity when you can spend $150 and get a pair of Bose? Super comfortable, lightweight and they sound great. Wireless would be great, which is what I thought I wanted, but I'm sure I'd forget to charge before a long flight. Nice to plug in and watch a movie too. Seriously, I love these headphones.

I am very happy with this purchase. These headphones are very comfortable, they will be great for travel. I especially like wearing them at the gym as they stay on my head better than earbuds. The sound quality is nice, and they block a lot of outside noise as well.

As a music lover, I always wanted to get a nice pair of headphones. My current On-ear Sennheiser one got old, so thought of trying a new brand for a change. Bose's standard & popularity is well known. So purchased this from Best Buy and got it delivered sooner than I expected. Good Service, BB !! Pat on the back !! On the headphones, when I first tried it the headphones were very light weight and comfortable. But felt nothing exceptional with the sound. But after I started listening for couple more days and more songs, it really got better and I started noticing the awesome sound quality. I was able to notice minute details in the songs i heard before using other headphones. Verdict: Worth the money for the price range. Dont judge it based on first listen. Let it burn in by playing for couple days.

I went through two pairs of cheap headphones and final decided to invest in a solid pair. These sound great and are also very comfortable. They are also very light and great for extended listening periods. The audio cord it comes with is removable and has an attached microphone with buttons that control the volume and track number. I have an iPhone and it works seamlessly with these headphones. As a bonus is comes with a case. Highly recommended.

I really love these headphones. The sound is great and they're lightweight enough to be comfortable. I tried out quite a few headphones at the store and thought these were the most comfortable because they were not as heavy as some of the others and I love their sound quality. I'm very happy with them.

I purchased these to replace an older set of noise cancelling headphones that lasted me a good 10 years, it was somewhat bittersweet because dropping this much money on something that is mostly trivial was something I wrestled. I work in an office where side conversation and overall noise can be a frustrating thing when trying to concentrate, these headphones are a great asset when all you want to do is put on some music and get the work done. I tried several sets at various stores and entertained several recommendations from friends. I always trusted the Bose brand to be of quality, and perhaps that may have helped sway me over some other choices, but this is a purchase I do not regret in the slightest. These things are great, better than my previous set (sony brand) and more comfortable as well.

I haven't hear my music this well in a very long time - the Bose brand lives up to its excellent reputation. They are very comfortable right out of the package. I'm glad Bose expanded their color scheme and hope to see more in the future. Also, I'm very glad that the price didn't break my wallet. Overall great product for the money. I'm very happy that I bought these.

We purchased this set of headphones for my 16 year-old son after reading many negative reviews of the quality of craftsmanship of the Beats, by Dr. Dre. I am so glad we gave the Beats to my other son's girlfriend for Christmas! The Bose headphones produce a much richer, clearer sound and keep out more of the outside noise. They are not the 'top' model for Bose, so they are not completely noise-canceling, but it's very close! The soft material around the ear cup could be worn all day in comfort. (And he would too, if I'd let him! ) The platic material that makes up the band is sturdy and in no way flimsy or in danger of cracking from regular use. Other than a higher class in the Bose family, I don't believe these headphones could be beaten!

I purchased these headphones for my girlfriend. She was looking for headphones that were big enough to fit around her ear while she wore earrings. This was perfect. The color also happened to be her favorite. The sound is amazing. She wears these all the time, especially while she watched movies and tv shows on Netflix.

I was looking for a good pair of headphones that are convenient for travel. I have a couple of different pairs by other manufacturers that sound great, but aren't as easy to use while traveling. These Bose headphones fill both needs. Good sound quality, comfortable, transportable and at a reasonable price.

I bought these because I was looking for lightweight earphones with good sound for my wife to use on long flights. These seem to fit the bill nicely, and she's been very satisfied with them, though they were not quite as loud as she would have liked with the iPod on the plane.

I love these headphones. Crystal clear sound. They are very comfortable and don't get too hot on my ears, so I can wear them for a long time. They are not "noise cancelling", but they do a pretty darn good job of blocking outside noise. So much so, that I can barely hear myself talk into the microphone. Speaking of which, the built-in mic is very good. The volume controls only work for apple products, but the mic and mic button work just fine on my android phone. The wire can disconnect from the headphones, which is a plus. It also comes with a nice little case for easy storage. I have no complaints.

I bought the Bose True Sound headphones online without even trying them out in-store, based on good reviews. Well those reviews were correct because these are excellent headphones! They sound very good and have a nice natural sound on music or on movie soundtracks (which was the main reason l bought them so as not to disturb the neighbors when I play movies late at night). I got the around-ear style that I like and these headphones are so comfortable that I could use them all day (reviewers were right again). They are an all around great product and even come with a nice carrying case. Superb quality.
