Works with a bulky Canon camera at a 12" height

This is a pretty stable tripod for use with a bulky camera like the Canon SX530 HS used at about 12" high. I can't attest to the stability at a greater height because I'm not using the tripod for that. It's easy to adjust the mount so the camera is at the proper angle for my use. The cell phone mount is a bit of a tight fit with my Samsung Luna Pro phone with its protective case on...but it does fit. I would take the case off for a safer fit to prevent possibly breaking the phone mount. If you can't figure out how to properly set the tripod up so that the central metal tube doesn't hit the surface it is standing on with a wobble, the trick is to push down fairly hard on the legs from the center mount on the tube. I was afraid of breaking something, but a gentle, firm push did the job!! The legs will splay out properly and you'll be all set with the little tab on the bottom of the tube's plastic end cap firmly sitting on your surface.

    Gets The Job Done

I bought this because my old selfie stick broke. The positives outweigh the negatives and this stick is FAR superior to my previous $10 one, so here are my thoughts. 1) Love the remote! I connected it to my phone once and it will automatically connect as soon as i turn it on. Works perfectly. 2) The tripod feature is great and works as intended, but the instructions fail to tell you how to properly use it. You MUST push up the part in between the legs in order for the tripod to stand, the legs will not all reach the ground unless you do this. I had to watch a youtube review to figure this out. The tripod worked fine once I figured this out, but it seems like an unnecessary design flaw. 3) Having different attachment options is great, but I sort of dislike the Ball Joint. This is the only good option when using it as a selfie stick since you need to have your phone or camera at an angle on the stick. Its great that it can turn in any direction, but it tends to come loose easily which can present problems while taking selfies or vlogging. Overall I still like it! I use it for my phone and for my webcam.

I purchased this compact, all-in-one tripod for a recent solo trip to Europe. It’s great as a selfie stick. Yes, there are people who still use selfie sticks…LOL The tripod (with extended legs) was a little unsteady on breezy days. But worked well on non-breezy days. Oh, and it has Bluetooth.

The product is great, versatile for what you can use. Selfie stick is solid, and so is the trip with allows to extend as promised. The only thing I do not like is the ball and socket for the adapters. The mechanism and screw do not perform well enough and even tight the attachment will move. The screw just doesn't catch the ball in the socket property to hold it steady in place.

This tripod is great for on the go adventures. I brought 5 as Christmas gifts an the family loved them. Whether your taking selfies or family pictures the bluetooth connects to your phone easily and the handheld clicker makes the magic happen. No more setting timers and running to get in position. It's worth the money and it comes with a travel bag

Nice tripod for basic use. The pole can be a tad wobbly when extended. Works good for stand alone videos. Decent product for a low price.

It's a bit awkward to hold. I like the length of it, but for larger phones, it doesn't work very well. I have the Fold 4 and the S23, both of which are large, especially with their cases on. The picture button is ok though. I mostly use the tripod function.

I successfully used my tripod twice, but when i went to put my same phone in it today… the top part broke. Unfortunately, there is no Best Buy warranty on this product and its passed the return period so if i want another one (or a different one) then i have to spend more money on a new one. I suppose i shouldnt have went with one of the cheaper ones to begin with. It might make a difference if you have a smaller phone.

Craftsmanship, design and quality is nice. Just a few drawbacks: A thicker phone case may not sit securely in the mount. (Quad-Lock won't.) The adjustable head can be a bit finicky to get set and tight, but it does happen. And the "head" portion has a tendency to wobble slightly, so probably not the best for activities involving a lot of movement. Otherwise a very nice, well built product that will probably last quite a long time.

This tripod works as intended for mobile phone use in recording videos. It is definitely not sturdy enough for a professional brand camera with a heavy lens attached. The remote provided with the tripod works as intended when paired with Bluetooth on your mobile phone. I use it at music events I attend to do FB Live videos.

I really am giving it a Four and Half Stars. Only because it could not hold the weight of my phone in its case. When I wanted to take a Selfie, it kept twisting downward. I could not fully extend the stick. I also had problems with The shuttle button. Every picture I took, you can see my hand because of me pointing it towards my phone. I like it, but I did not get much use of it.

I actually really like this product. The fact that this turns into a portable phone and GoPro holder is awesome. It can even become a selfie stick. Perfect for blogging. But it doesn't end there, you can use it for a stable desk mount. Only concern was the possibility of a heavy phone tilting the top during recording but so far it has been stable. I recommend it!

Bought this tripod during the pandemic for virtual meetings and streaming. It is portable, and compact. The remote is a plus. The only problem with it is that with time, it becomes wobbly. With time, the pole tends to become loose so you will have a hard time adjusting and leveling the image. The tripod doesn't sit straight. Tried contacting Bower customer service after 2 months I bought and as of at the time of this review, have not heard back from them. It was good until it was new. After that, kind of disappointed, but still using it occasionally. I always get annoyed when I use it, until I get an alternative.

Im giving 3 stars because I bought one before and ended up losing and most likely leaving it at the gym. It was sturdy as much as it could be and i never had any issues with the Bluetooth. And i loved it, and it got the job done. I was sad when i realized i lost it. I decided to buy a new one since i liked it so much…and the quality is like night and day. The bar comes out of the bottom. And i have to take time to put it back in sometimes and its a fight. It likes to fall over, i dont know why that is an issue now. I havent changed phones. It is always crooked while recording. I cant get it to stay straight. I have messed with it a million times and no matter what way, it’s crooked. If you’re going to spend the $20 or $25 on this, i’d honestly suggest spending $50 on a half decent tripod at this point.
