The lens hood is good, once you thread it in the hood portion can be disconnected by 1/4 turning it out when you want to use flash or just dont need the hood it self.
On my camera at the widest shoot the are a very small shados on the picture. To get around that I just zoom just 1 click on the button and then done, that's why I gave it 4 stars.

Did Not Fit My 62mm Lens!

This Lens Hood did not fit my Nikon 70-300mm telephoto
lens (62mm), too small. I got it to work on my Nikon 18-55mm! You may have better luck than I did!
