I have had a few but in the past I went with inexpensive versions and they always broke. This time I spent a little more and could not be happier. It is very sturdy and I feel comfortable with my expensive camera being mounted to it. All that money in the camera and you do not want a cheap tripod to fail on you and it to topple over. I am tall 6'3 and like the height of it as well. It came with a nice carry bag and I throw it over my shoulder and it is not heavy at all. I also like the quick disconnect for when I want to remove the camera quickly. Overall a very well made tripod.

Very lightweight and sturdy. Only problem I can see is camera plate is slightly loose when locked in on tripod.

for my first tripod I think I made a good purchase, has great height advantage, two levels to set it in, lightweight and stable, comes with carry-on shoulder strap bag and fits my other cameras with universal camera screw-in holder.

I've been looking for an affordable tripod with a maximum height of 6'2" or higher to film my daughter's volleyball tournaments. This fits the bill perfectly. I've only used it a few times so I can't speak to its durability but it feels like it will last as longs as any of the other more expensive models I looked at. Its low price, easy of use, height and features alone make it a great deal. I am very happy with it.

I record all of my sons games and I would just hold the camera with my hand but once I got this I saw a big difference! My video was stable and this is so easy to use and bc it comes with carrying case even better!! Plus all around!

This tripod is built like Mount Everest. It stands tall and holds your camera high without blowing in the wind. No blur from the wind blowing your expensive camera around. You can feel safe your investment won't end up in pieces on the ground. I get great pictures with this tripod. That's what matters. If you are shooting motion pictures you won't see vibration. This is an all around tripod.

I expect tripods to be heavy and bulky, but this tripod is light and easily packaged.

Very light. Looked for something that was my height. Also has a second extension of the camera. Can't figure out how to get it back in the bag thought.

I needed every inch this tripod could give me and it delivered. I needed something tall enough so that people walking in front of the camcorder would not block the shot. It was easy to expand and place the camcorder on it. It comes with its own carrying case and is easy to transport. It folds to a nice compact size.
