Bought these speakers a few years ago and they still sound awesome. I use them for audio and in a surround sound system. They really excel in a two channel system for music. Cristal clear.

i have owned b&w speakers for 15 years now and they have never let me down.but thats what you get when you buy good quality speakers they will last forever if you take care of them . i have rocked my old speakers to there core and they still work great the only reason i upgraded mine i always wanted the cm9s and i couldent be any happier with them.

These are beautifull and sound great. Make sure you get everything when you buy them because B&W wont give you a replacement and the parts are extremely expensive. I bought these open box didnt come with the grills. They cost $92 for two pieses of plastic with cloth on them. But they sound great for audio or home theatre. For now i cut down a 5.1 system for a 2.0 with no regrets.

These are great, Look great and sound great, Very happy. I had the previous model CM9 and exchanged those and got the updated S2. Just make sure you have a powerful amp. I have these Bi-amped and they sound great but they could still handle more power.

Very good sound quality combined with elegant black piano finish really brighten my family room. B&W stands out for its reputation. I upgraded from a pair of JBL tower speakers (Stage). I also added a Yamaha AS500 amplifier to power the speakers to get maximum out of it. If you have the budget, go for it. No regret.

I never thought I would own these amazing speakers but they were the right price and they were worth every penny. I bought these for my fronts and the CM Center and CM1's as rears. I also got a B&W sub to complete the system. They sound great and they make watching tv or movies a real experience. I also have really been enjoying listening to music on them. I have been getting out a lot of old CD's and enjoying them all over again on these bad boys. I am really glad I chose these over the B&W 600 series speakers I was thinking about getting they are way more detailed and really fill the room. You can hear everything! The 600 series speakers can't even compare. I plan on having these for a really long time and i am sure they will continue to amaze.

Replaced my 30+ year old McIntosh XR6 4way speakers powered with Denon 100Rms amp. B&Ws running w/Elite THX surround amp of equal power. Initially, thought Macs had better low frequency w/ 12" woofer but after a few weeks of listening to a wide variety of source material think the CM9s have superior bass note tone quality, and delivery speed. Perhaps that's a result of smaller woofer & passive radiator w/ port. CM9s mids & highs equal to or better than Macs. CM9s have much smaller footprint than Macs. Wish they were made in Texas, USA or England instead of China, otherwise NO regrets.

Great build quality. Wonderful sounding speaker. My only negative comment would be, the lack of bass. It's just missing. I'm hoping it will improve after they have been more broken in.

I have two of them and have a 2.0 setup. Perfect sound and enough base. May add a center channel in the near future

The sound reproduction is like the artist intended it to be. I had one friend that was listening to them say it sounded like he was standing in front of the artist amp.

these speakers have significantly upgraded the quality of our surround sound system. I would recommend them to anyone looking to do the same.

The sound is absolutely amazing...worth very penny. They look pretty cool too. We keep the covers off as they look so great and modern. We would highly recommend!

These B&W speakers surprised me. I really like the wide sound stage and the precise bass, but the Kevlar mid range speaker is breathtaking. I'm running these on an old Classe CA-100 which drives them effortless and in my opinion really compliments the speakers so much better than the sony and marantz equipment best buy demoed them on. A very nice speaker if you can't afford the nautilus series, but still want great sounding audio.
