I've had Bose, Klipsch and Infinity speakers in the past. Although they all performed well, these Bowers and Wilkins are by far the best speakers I've ever owned. You hear the music in layers of vocals, percussion and guitar the way it was recorded and was meant to be heard. I'm noticing things in songs I've listened to hundreds of times that I never did before. Excellent lows and highs. Definitely worth the money.

These speakers are primo! The clarity in sound is amazing. I'm hearing things in music that I haven't heard before because the speakers I was using did not have the clarity these do. These speaker are exceptional at reproducing piano music. Jazz is very pronounced and tasteful when listening on these speakers. I highly recommend for the discerning musician or music lover.

Incredibly precise and detailed sound, not overly warm. Surprisingly good bass response, but never boomy. The tweeters are absolutely phenomenal, and make these into very special speakers. I auditioned these and ELAC Unif-Fi 5s at the same time, and the B&Ws were much more precise and detailed. I'm using these with an old ADCOM amp and Onkyo preamp, and they are nothing short of amazing. I listen to a big variety of music, from classical to jazz to punk rock, and these have handled it all wonderfully. Also great at all volumes, from very quiet to inappropriately loud. This was very important to me as the setting they are in mandates quiet listening much of the time. Remarkably good speakers, well worth the money.

Very detailed sound and spacious. Finish overall good, for price can’t beat this.

Love them. I’ve had b&w 600’s, 601, and 603’s, A/R 6’s and some other very decent speakers.. I really liked them all. But these are my favorite.

I use a pair as my front left and right speakers in a 5.1.4 configuration along with an asw610 sub. both movies and music sound great. a lot of detail in the sound. well worth the money

we listened to several brands and this one has amazing sound quality. We love them in our family room. We have a 24x20 room and the sound is amazing.

We listened to a number of bookshelf speakers and these were the winners by far for under $1000. Really wonderful detail and enough low end to fill the medium sized room. Very happy.

These speakers are awesome and deliver amazingly clear sound. Demo'd these in a Magnolia showroom and compared them to the 700s so I would know for sure whether I felt I was missing out on anything. Set them up at home and they sound great! Very happy with my choice!

We have had these speakers for over a year now. They were an Open Box special, but were in great condition. They sound awesome. I was thinking I might eventually want a Sub Woofer to go with these speakers, but bass is not a problem.

I’m using these speakers with a Naim NAIT integrated amp, LINN Axis turntable, Nakamichi cassette deck and a Denon CD player. All these pieces are over 30 years old and everything sounds superb with these speakers, especially the vinyl! I highly recommend these speakers especially for the price.

In the showroom, they were the best I heard "for the price" I was willing to pay. actually it was a little more than I was willing to pay but I'm glad I did. After listening to the 700 series, I admit they were better, but for the additional cost, the improvement was nowhere near the difference between the cost of the 606 and lesser priced models. (the bang for the buck ratio - literally) was very high with the 606. When I got them home (Though I was upset to have to had buy them - I had a pair of klipsch speakers I burned out with my phone volume control moving too quickly for my receiver)... I was happy to hear they were every bit as clear and crisp as they were in the listening room at Magnolia center.

These small packages offer incredible sound and clarity. Great tonal qualities that are sure to please even the most discriminating ears. I’d buy again.

I cant believe such great sound comes from these speakers. Truly amazing. For the first month i had them, i didnt have the sub hooked up...after a while i wondered if I needed the sub. Really good speakers.

Wife felt the old speakers were a bit boomy for her liking. While I loved the Klipsch sound i took a chance and upgraded to the BW's. I have to say i couldn't be happier. Sound stage isn't as wide but the reproduction is spot on and mids much more balanced.

These bookshelf speakers are amazing, especially if you get them open box. They have a very balanced and bright sound with a little bit of the lower frequencies. I would totally recommend a subwoofer with them to add a little needed punch.

An amazing set of bookshelf speakers. I paired them with the SATV 24 stands. And I’m Bi-amping them with my receiver. They sound excellent. Highly reccomend. If you’re in the market for speakers and considering something cheaper I would definitely say save up for these instead.

I bought a pair of these about a year ago for one of the rooms in my house and I needed to replace some speakers elsewhere and so I bought another pair. They sound great and are a pretty good value for the price. They're not cheap but top quality doesn't come cheap

Perfect speakers to compliment my system. I placed them on a shelf pretty high in the room. They came alive when I did the system set up with the receivers microphone.
