Q: QuestionI own these and I'm wondering am I missing something or can I use bannana plugs on the speakers? If not what is the preferred or best method of connection?
Asked by Gguy.
- A:Answer You can use banana plugs. Due to EU regulations, the home for banana plug is plugged with a plastic cap. To remove this, unscrew the textured binding post but all of the way and you’ll see the plastic cap (red or black) sitting on top. This can be removed with a slim screwdriver, scissor or butterfly knife by wedging it under the lip of the plastic insert and it should pop right out.

Q: QuestionIs it okay to used a 140 watts per channel AV receiver to bower and Wilkins 606?

Q: QuestionCan I safely screw into the side of 606s? About 2cm from the base and 10cm from the rear. Or can you recommend any wall-mount allowing an 8-degree tilt not requiring a screw? My side-clamp Sonora WB33Cs can't hold the weight/depth of the 606s.
Asked by Rob.
- A:Answer Better placed this on a strong shelf not so close to the wall or stand mount it. This is heavy and if you screw to the sides, well you might degrade its value.

Q: QuestionFollowing up on a previous question...specifically on an amp, how will the 606's pair with a Yamaha RX-Z7?...as I recall it is rated at 140 watts per channel
Asked by dooley9806.
- A:Answer Initially, I hook this up to an old Yamaha Stereo Receiver 200 watts (100 watts per channel) . Sounds good but I cannot turn the volume too high on the Receiver, loud enough for small to medium size rooms. If you connect to your Yamaha just start at very low volume level then up just enough it can handle.

Q: QuestionWith these speakers, I will need about 10 to 20 feet of wire. Should I use 16 gauge or 14 gauge pure copper wire? Which one would be better?
Asked by PJP.
- A:Answer This speaker can be bi wire or bi Amp. Ask a Magnolia tech at Best buy, they sure are knowledgeable and a nice good wire is preferable you'll hear it.
