A: You can use banana plugs. Due to EU regulations, the home for banana plug is plugged with a plastic cap. To remove this, unscrew the textured binding post but all of the way and you’ll see the plastic cap (red or black) sitting on top. This can be removed with a slim screwdriver, scissor or butterfly knife by wedging it under the lip of the plastic insert and it should pop right out.
A: The recommended amplifier power is 30 watts to 120 watts.
A: Better placed this on a strong shelf not so close to the wall or stand mount it. This is heavy and if you screw to the sides, well you might degrade its value.
A: Initially, I hook this up to an old Yamaha Stereo Receiver 200 watts (100 watts per channel) . Sounds good but I cannot turn the volume too high on the Receiver, loud enough for small to medium size rooms. If you connect to your Yamaha just start at very low volume level then up just enough it can handle.
A: This speaker can be bi wire or bi Amp. Ask a Magnolia tech at Best buy, they sure are knowledgeable and a nice good wire is preferable you'll hear it.
A: You can buy stands sold separately. Any brand model you prefer.
