The sound quality is great. It takes a good 20 hours of use to feel/hear the great sound quality. I listen mainly to Latin music (Salsa, Bachata, Rancheras, and Boleros) and does the job very well with the bass. Don’t place too close to the wall (about 4 to 5 inches of the wall). The back of the speakers where it has the speaker wire port, is kind of sensitive and affects the sound quality at times. Other than that, it is a great speaker.

one of the best speaker ive owned since i was 13 years old and im 45 now i love jazz and 80's music and slow rock, i use to moibile when i was 16 yrs old different speakers and equipments used just to get the correct sound, i have a set of b and w 685's that i use in my room very good speakers specially with the pro sub 1000 to cut a long story short this speakers amaze me, i was blown away exellent speakers combine it again with another pro sub 1000, im very happy. im a bass guy hehehe

Sounded even better than when heard in store. Great sound ranges. Aesthetically appearance was clean and simple.

The Pros - Phenomenal highs and mids. Cons - lack of low range extension and a bit bright. Overall for the price these are great speakers and the cabinet is easily the best in its price range.

GREAT speakers,won't be disappointed, the room comes alive

Great sleek design, and excellent performance. While making my selection listening inside the Magnolia sound room I thought that the sound was really good, I hook them up at home along with the other speakers to create a full 7.1 experience they produced A theatrical experience that was mind blowing . I am very pleased with this purchase. When I run then independently they are unbelievable . The bi- amp connection allows the speakers to produce MultiSound channels through one speaker . Phenomenal speakers I highly recommend and they are priced fair.

I have owned several different brands of speakers, but these Bowers Wilkins put out just incredible sound !!!

I had been eyeing these speakers for quite sometime. Finally I brought the wife with me so she could hear for herself why I kept insisting we needed them for our home. Half way through a song she turned to me with a grin and said "Ok I am sold". I have had them now for about a month and regardless of whether I am streaming music or watching tv, the sound is amazing. Must have for any home!

These are good sized speakers. I had the bookcase ones before. Great audio from these speakers!

Great speakers i was looking to upgrade my infinity speakers and i had been looking this time for something really better and i have been reading and checking the reviews at bestbuy.com and i had in mind Martin Logan and i decided to go to the store and listen some models under my budget and after listening those i saw the B&W speakers and i felt in love for these great speakers better than the Martin Logan they are incredible and i am very good in electronics that has been my hobby for more than 40 years i have a H K amp not bad but very good for me but these speakers need a lot better amp something like Mcintosh but is too expensive and i would like to have bought the diamond series B&W but they were $2000 each but let me say this brand is the best of the best and probably these speakers will be with forever unless i win the lotery and make my dreams come true with the diamond series and a Mcintosh system

Great speakers. Replaced a set of Definitive floorstanders. Very clear and balanced sound. Construction is really good, although would have preferred a piano black finish; however, cannot complain for the price point.

I basically use these speakers specifically for music only spent a lot of time comparing these to others but just kept coming back to these. Well worth it

I'm looking for a speaker that can deliver the goosebumps feel highs and splendid bass that you can feel without the need to use a subwoofer when listening to stereo sound. It's here with the B&W 683 S2.I've always wanted to own these speakers and it did not dissappoint.

These floor standing speakers are awesome for our listening requirements. And look good too. Given these speakers are not in a dedicated theatre room. They can definitely deliver the sounds we expect from our 5.1 system. I'm pretty sure we haven't maxed them out as we are still tweaking the settings to get the most out of these speakers. Dialing-in the exact crossover points is still a work in progress, since our family has such a broad range of music styles and genre. I would definitely recommend.

The speakers are awesome. It adds so much quality to the whole system. Looks very high end . Would totally recommend it
