I originally started off with a pretty basic sound bar to begin with but had always been interested in a traditional home theater set up. When I saw a pair of these in open box I figured what the heck. After I finished setting up even going so far as to be wire the speakers. (A recommendation by John Porterfield) I was instantly struck by essential bless. Bowers and Wilkins is definitely my brand.

Replaced Klipsch Quartets after 22 years. These speakers are awesome and sound really great. Only drawback is their efficiency is low around 90dbc. Klipsch were better. What this means is that your amp will work harder as you increase volume. My Denon AVR-4000 went into protection mode twice out of five listening sessions. But don't let that hold you back!

great for the movie room clear sound but not too loud that the neighbors cam hear

This is a unique one of a kind purchase. I loved it! It might my needs and exceeding my expectations. Its a great buy and will last me through the years! Highly recommended

Most expensive speakers I've ever purchased. Have only had them 6 weeks so I can not speak to longevity. Bottom Line......WORTH EVERY PENNY

The clarity, sharpness, and lack of sound distortion from these B&W speaker is truly amazing. I listened to several several high end speakers, could have spent a lot more however, these 683's are perfect for my system, space and physical limits of my hearing. I highly recommend these speakers to anyone looking for great speakers a very reasonable price.

Replaces an old set of Snell brand form the 90's Rule of thumb is you should always spend as much as you can on speakers, and this is very true in this case. These speakers have a very natural sound, and sound great for all the material i've listened to so far. From Metal, Rock, Country and some classical. Even TV/Movie playback sound way better

they finally arrived after an extra few days of waiting, unboxed, installed and wow, it's impossible to know how a speaker in a studio like Magnolia will sound in your house, they sound great, took a while to run wire through walls, make connections, program the receiver, etc., enjoyed a couple hours last night, quite pleased

Sound is crisp. Can’t tell you how happy I am with these. Only issue is the covers on these were not magnetic but I believe the latest version comes with magnetic cover but check with your dealer. I feel because mine are not eventually the ‘‘tis of them will break. Magnetic wouldn’t have that issue.

I got these to replace some dog digitals. I recently got 502's for my rear channels and really wish I just got these instead. I've been pushing stereo rather than 5 point surround and in my space it sounds brilliant. Oh well. I just need to build my next home around my sound system not unlike Odysseus did around an olive tree.

These speakers are the best sounding speakers that I ever heard. I like the fact that at Best Buy you can listen to any combination of components that they have. I spent over an hour with a very helpful sales associate before I settled on the system that sounded the best to me.

This was my first foray into floorstanding speakers and am satisfied with my purchase. The sound is very accurate without a lot of overprocessed bass. The more you turn it up, the better it sounds. It does not deserve or like to be played softly! Needs a good receiver to drive it.

have had these a year and used for 2 channel music and very happy with my choice (between martin logan, polk, klipsch, def tech, paradigm)...more than enough power in an open floor space w/ 20 ft ceiling... so far not feeling like I need a sub yet

Got rid of my 15 yer old Polk floor speakers and what a difference. I had no idea what great speakers sounded like until I got this pair. Have them hooked up to a Pioneer Elite SC-95 and together they sound awesome!

Found these speakers in the Magnolia room. Been looking at these four months. Just so happens, they were marked down as clearance. Better than half off. It was a no-brainer to go ahead and grab these. These are the older 600 series S2

An awesome intro into high end audio. Nothing beats B&W for absolute clarity and these speakers are a great value for their performance. Build quality is superb and with the grille off, is just plain sexy to look at.

I was looking for some nice looking updated speakers with great sound quality. These fit perfect. Very happy with the look and quality of these speakers.

I bought these after listening to them in the store. They have exceeded my expectations and I enjoy listening to music as well as watching movies in surround sound.
