Very good tower speakers. The best that i have had.

I love this set because you can add on as you go along.

Great speakers. I upgraded from a Bose system and these speakers, by design, are in a different class. The sub really hits well and they worth every penny. They do not take up much space either.

I upgraded from JBL towers (900 series) to these B&W speakers. My first concern when I got them home was that they were Made In China. Evident was the build-quality right out of the box. Every screw, base or component was precise and of quality. Only problem was the screen cover plastic connectors were broken out of the box so one of the screens just hangs onto the speaker unit. The sound was stunning. I used 5.1 DVD discs on a Oppo 203 DVD player to test out the sound and heard aspects of the audio that I had never heard before. It's very clean but if I had to complain at all, I'd say that I am not hearing enough bass. Thus, have a great sub-woofer. B&W appears to be a quality brand. BTW: 5 year warranty.

Nuanced, sensitive, and more powerful than their small size would suggest. These speakers really made me fall in love with music again.

Have spent the past ~5 weeks researching speakers for new home theater system, with all new components: Sony 65" TV and Sony receiver and Sony DVD player (lol not a Sony fanboy, just turned out the best performance for the price was these components). Prior speakers were bookshelf Boston Acoustics and stand Polk Audio and Yamaha subwoofer. Had spent numerous hours on-line and at various BB and other stores; finally at one Magnolia store, demo'd a pair of these 684S2 speakers as they had an open box set. While this was bit higher than my original budget, lol I decided what the heck, and got these after a very impressive demo session. Got these home, and now after a few days of listening to various sources (TV, movies, vinyl, CD's, DVD's, YouTube, and Paradise Radio), the sound from these speakers is just amazing. The highs and the midrange and even the bass are crisp, clear, and clean - no matter what sound level, or what listening to either. There are 'better' speakers, but for the price point, these are (from all that I researched and heard) the best sounding speakers to my ears, by far. And to have something that is made by such an iconic historic cool company is an added bonus :)

Once again B&W have lived up to their product name. Brought these speakers after reading various reviews from the professionals. These are my first pair of tower speakers. I am coming from a pair of Paradigm bookshelf speakers so I know quality when I see and hear it. These speakers are well worth the money so don't delay and purchase them

I can not believe the reviews for these speakers. I purchased them and while they have a very clear pure sound with a med volume setting the sound very "tinny" at high volumes and muffled at low settings There is not allot base either. I can not believe they are part of the magnolia theater family. I returned them
