Let's be honest here, I climbed the ladder of speakers starting out the low end, a brief stint in the middle, and stopping here. Jut a remarkable product that provided such detail inside the music that my vast music collection became new again. But what killed me was the punch out of the tiny 5 inch. Blood Sweat & Tears 2nd release in SACD pushed the horns out with the bass and drummer kicking the band in da tush. Fantastic energetic listen that made it fun. BTW My 35-watt amp had no issue driving these bad boys!

Not the perfect high end speaker. But, that would cost thousands of dollars more. Responds to good electronics and room placement. Not best in large rooms. Microdynamics are noticeable although not the same as headphones. These are minor complaints. With these you get very clear music that sounds like real music. It is very compelling. I cannot stop listening to these speakers. Very glad I bought them. Like all good high end speakers these respond to placement and upstream components. Recommend these highly regardless of your listening experience.

Smaller then expected but the sound is amazingly clear and detailed. Bass is ok but needs a sub.

I was able to get these open box for 250 dollars. For the money, I dont think there is s better pair. Even at MSRP

These are fantastic as a full surround sound setup. The timing and air are fantastic, not harsh at all, immersive, and you just want to stay in that sound field all day. I took some youtube advice which said if you going to upgrade, make it significant enough, these delivered. I also ignored some forum advice which said that rear surround matching did not matter that much, but my gut told me something was off, I finally pulled the trigger on the rears and I was right. The sound field is sooooo good now, all the drivers are in sync and the sound field is airy and transparent, it makes me relaxed and now I just want to keep listening (e.g. youtube electronic concerts), whereas before matching the rears I might want to turn it off after a while. Now I am enjoying the music and experience, instead of thinking about if it sounds right. Movies also sound much better, of course. Even if you don't spend the coin on B&W, I highly recommend getting all matched speakers.

Fantastic entry level speakers that will live on in my household. As long as the little kids don't put their fingers on them. Very responsive and punchy when given a little extra juice. Movies and music sound amazing. I'm hearing things I never thought were there in the music. Perfect amount of bass and treble. The name says it all.

Using with Marantz surround receiver. Very clean sounding.

these speakers are truly a tribute to the company as anniversary model. The sound is crystal clear and booming. My speakers are powered by my NAD c388 integrated amp. I would highly recommend these speakers. Installing the cable wire was simple and the fit for the speaker wire connector was snug and perfect. I got the white color and its perfect. If I had one request would be to make the speaker cover magnet more powerful. I am so glad I got these speakers.!! with a subwoofer its even better.
