I have a pair of B&W 685's(bi-amped) and a Marantz SR5006 powering them. The 608 was just enough power for most music playback. The LFE channel from movie playback would usually distort the 8" driver unless turned down about 11 dB while watching action movies with explosions, or sounds in the bottom first octave (20Hz-40Hz)

I'm floored by the amount of power this little 8" cone puts out. The quality is better than any movie theater I've ever been to. Whether it's gaming, watching tv or movies, or even just kicking back and listening to music, you will not be disappointed with your purchase.

The B&W ASW608 is just the right size for my space. It fills the room without being boomy or "one note". Blends well with my system which includes B&W CDM7SE front speakers. It replaces a Boston 10" sub without any loss of volume.

I could not be more pleased with my recent B&W surround sound system. It works and sounds great with my Denon receiver and produces good quality for both music and movies.

This sub is great. Perfect package with the B&W 683s and surround setup. Makes me feel like I am at the movies. Definitely worth the investment! I plan to keep this speaker setup for a long time.

Its a great subwoofer. It doesn't shake the whole house (if you don't want it to ;) ) but it provides excellent bass for music and movies.

Great product but was dissatisfied with Best Buy procedures. Product not in inventory and I was caught traveling when it came in. BB was going to cancel order even though I paid for it already and stopped in at a BB in North Carolina while traveling. Procedure not customer friendly. BB had my history of how many items I bought from them and it made no difference. I can see why Walmart is a threat to BB

Simply one of the smoothest sounding subs for a compact size.

I bought this to go with my Yamaha 735 Receiver and BnW 684 floor speakers. The result has been musical to my ears, even my neighbors seem to be enjoying the music. No complains.
