Great addition to round out sound for our stereo and tv. Just had one wire to attach and was able to call our sales contact when we were not sure which connection to use. Geek squad had previously been here to set up the tv so they installed the wire then because we had to wait for this piece to arrive at the store.

I spent about 2.5 hours in the Magnolia Room listening to every combination of speakers and set ups they had. I upgraded my floor speakers because they had so much more bass than the less expensive model. However, when they played a movie with a lot of low end (think wind and other deep sounds), it was incredible just how much difference this sub made. Because of my budget and what I was spending on the rest of my system, I was hesitant to buy a sub. I read several reviews and opinions from literally hundreds of people to determine if a sub was even necessary. Once I got in that room and heard the difference, it was clear a good sub is essential to a cinema-like experience. This sub is fantastic and definitely was worth buying. It adds a lot and I would not put together a good home theater system without it.

After purchasing a home theater system for my living room, I decided to install one in my master bedroom. After consulting with the Best Buy sales person, he recommended the Bowers & Wilkins - 8" 200W Active Subwoofer. I’m glad I took his advice. I’m very satisfied and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sub for their home theater at a reasonable price.

Bowers and wilkins is exceptional quality. If your looking for great sound, walk a little further into the Magnolia department and get a stereo system that will sing like the birds

BW speakers are worth the extra cost, same goes for their subwoofers, totally impressed with the bass and enhancement to the bookshelf speakers. Night and day, must have!

This was the first time I ever purchased a subwoofer and it is simply awesome. The sound is so crisp and clear. I recommend this to anyone purchasing a subwoofer.

The Magnolia tech helped me try a couple of subs. And I couldn't have picked the best sound out of them all. I will buy Bowers and Wilkins again.

This sub is place right behind our back couch in our home theater room and fills the bass perfectly with the rest of our M1 system.

The bass is accurate but not overwhelming. I have it in a pretty large room and it provides plenty of low end for movie watching.
