These earbuds hurt a little at first, but after a bit of getting used to, they are easily the best sounding earbuds I've ever had.

Even though the sound was great the comfort was not. The earplugs would not stay in and the cords were cumbersome. I purchased over the earphones and enjoy them better.

These sound superb. I've turned off any EQ on the devices I use these on because they simply don't need it. B&W bookshelf and floor speakers miniaturized! I find the fit and comfort as good as any other in-ear and in some ways better. Oh - and the call quality is also superior.

Overall the sound these earbuds create is astounding, the best I've heard from something this size. That being said, they have the weirdest design in which the thin hook does not go on the outside of your ear to hang, rather it is supposed to fit inside the frame of your ear. Any subtle movement causes them to fall out and that was troublesome. I actually had to exhange these for anther Bowers and Wilkins on ear headphone.

    Excellent sounding earbuds, but...

First, the bad. The unusual ear loop isn't for everybody. While the loop works great in my right ear, it is uncomfortable in my left ear and tends to pull the bud out of the ideal location in my ear canal. I was able to remedy this by pulling the loop out of the channel on the ear bud, which loosened it up enough to not interfere or cause discomfort. It does take a little extra effort to insert the ear bud correctly this way, but the shifting and comfort issues are gone. This is the only reason I did not give these a 5-star rating. I would expect a tangle free cord at this price range. Soundwise, these are a bit laid back on the highs, but to be fair, I take a medication that causes ringing in my ears for a couple hours and that is likely causing the apparent (very minor) loss treble. In-line controls are for iOS, although all functions work on Android devices except volume. I have not used with a phone, so I can not speak on those functions. The good. Excellent bass, not dance club boomy, so may not suit bass heads, but presence enough that you almost feel it resonate in your chest. Voices shine through with clarity while revealing subtlety and nuance. These present a soundstage far wider than an ear bud should with sounds seeming to come from outside your head and instrument placement was clearly locatable while deep bass seemed to radiate from everywhere. Please note that if you do remove the ear loops from their channels that you properly align the buds in your ear, otherwise your ear lobes may partially block the vents on the rear of the buds. Many reviews stated that these needed a burn-in period. I listened for a while out of the box, then left them to play overnight. I can confirm that the bass became more present and not so "tight" and restrained. Don't judge these until after 12 hours or so of use. I mainly use these with my Pioneer - XDP100R digital audio player, which I highly recommend. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/pioneer-xdp100rk-portable-high-resolution-digital-audio-player-black/5091408.p?skuId=5091408

I wanted a wired earphone that wasn't Bose or Beats. Nothing against Bose, I own several Bose products, and I don't like Beats, I just wanted a different soundstage. Wireless is convenient but you have minimal control over the sound they produce, which is the reason I wanted wired. Long story short, I like the C5's. You don't need a amplifier to get a good sound, but they sound even better with a decent amp.

These ear-buds have absolutely no low end. The mids and highs are audiophile quality and would rate at least 2 stars if they were not so expensive. The $12 Radio Shack ear-buds I was trying to replace were much more musical and had better overall balance. I returned them. Very disappointing!

I am a big fan of B&W speakers. We have some very expensive home speakers which we love, so I was pretty excited about these headphones. Sadly I do feel they are a letdown for the price. I don't like how they fit in my ear and I feel like the sound quality should be much better at this price point. I don't hate them, but I also don't love them.

Very good in ear headphones! These headphones have a very neutral sound; they also have great trebles, an excellent non overbearing bass which is good and great mids. The loops on the headphones can be a bit tricky at first, but you’ll eventually find a way to use them. Build quality is excellent and I would recommend these to people who like to have a clean and balanced sound with their headphones.

It is so hard to get these ear buds into the ear canal, am still trying to figure out the right way... But they sure sound so good when properly inserted. I love them, if I only could them inserted the right way every time I use them
