Speaker should be placed at ear level. The stands are built at right height for listeners sitting at sofa. It indeed improves sound experience. Sleek design does not take much space. However, stands made of low cost sheet metal cost all out $100 is over-priced. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could.

I rigged to accommodate an OG Apple HomePod. Had a wall bracket made specifically for the original large HomePod that I was able to attached with the stand screws so it works perfectly (just had to add three drill holes to match the stand screw placement) to mount to the top bracket that comes with the stand. I bought the brackets some time ago, not sure if they are still available. The hardest part was getting the plug through the bottom hole which is a little small for an electric plug head of the HomePod, but I was able to get it pushed through with some effort (in hindsight I should have but the metal with a power tool to make the base hole larger to better accommodate the plug.
Looks good and is a solid stand.

If there was a zero star rating I would give it. The speakers I bought did not fit the stand recommended by Best Buy to go with the B&W surround speakers. Will not recommend and very deceptive for customers. Do not get speaker stand to go with B&W 4 in 100 watt speakers
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
