Unmatched sound quality and comfort - and the color is absolutely stunning. Battery life gets a 10/10 as well.

Just wow. These headphones are really next level. First off hubby has a big head and large ears, so not all headphones fit the same and not all are comfortable. These fit the bill for both. After an hour charge these are ready to go. The case is large in circumference but super flat compared to other cases which fit better when you are sliding them in and out of bags, purses or even stand up luggage. These are super ideal for travel and plane flights to be specific. I’m not a fan of having to download the app before I can pair them but that’s minor. Once paired I was able to use them immediately. The app I guess does add an extra level of sophistication. The variety of being able to assign the customizable button is super cool. My biggest pet peeve or issue with these headphones, is that when I’m taking them off and putting them on my thumbs hits a button on the sides. I almost always hit or press a button that I don’t plan on or even want to touch but the design has these in a very odd spot. Other than that, these sound awesome!!

To start these are for sound and convenience of quality sound. The noise cancelling isn’t the best. It is beaten by bose, Sony, apple, and Sennheiser. Where it lacks ANC it makes up in spectacular sound. The bass is plentiful but the mids sound better than ever. B&W is known for true to life sound and it shows. ANC and battery are plenty adequate. The overall quality is exquisite. Worth it over almost all in the price point.

    Having both PX8 and PX7 S2

Originally I owned the PX8 but the cost was too insane to keep. Ended up returning it and getting the PX7 S2 but after testing them side by side...I do wish the PX8 was cheaper priced. First and Foremost, the Positives: +Sound is insanely clear and crisp. You cannot go wrong with these headphones. The clarity, bass/treble adjustment with the app, it's like the other reviewer stated: you aren't just listening to sound, you are truly experiencing it. I recommend moving the treble and bass up 2 from 0. +Battery life is great +Carrying case has everything you need and it's so convenient to have. Case quality is great also, can't complain. +Watching movies on these is crazy clear. I hear sounds I didn't hear before, background sound in the movie etc. This is most likely attributed to the amazing sound stage these headphones have. +These are the headphones to get against the competition for sound, period. Negatives: -The ANC is not bad, but if you want ANC you get the Sony XM series. But if you want sound, you get B&Ws. -Sensor taking the headset off to pause the music etc. doesn't work very well -Headphones are designed for people with smaller heads I feel like. I have to extend these out all the way to fit my head. -Earcups are a lot smaller than what I'm used to, but works. Probably why it sounds so amazing but if you have a huge head and huge ears, these might not be a good fit. -Wearing glasses with these aren't bad, but after having the PX8, the PX8 is way better for glasses wearers. Comparison PX8 vs PX7 S2: *First thing that's noticeable is the comfort. The Napa leather on the PX8 is instantly noticeable. *Sound, you can definitely notice the difference between the PX8 and PX7 S2 sound. The PX8 does sound better, but for most users, the price on PX8 is a turn off. If you can afford the PX8, get the PX8. The sound on the PX8 vs. the PX7 S2 definitely swings to PX8's way. Even in movies. I do have some regret returning the PX8, so I recommend you don't use the PX8 then downgrade to the PX7 S2 because you will be like blech this sucks I already got spoiled from the PX8. I still regret returning the PX8, but the price on those are just way too insanely high. Maybe one day I will trade back to the PX8 but only when it's on sale. That's how much the PX8 is than the PX7 S2. For those who just like great sound, you really can't go wrong with either or. Just don't do what I did, used the PX8 then downgraded. If you must, just do PX7 S2 and don't look at the PX8 or you will be like argh, that high price PX8 is worth it if I had the money. FYI I got these for $70 off during a sale. That's the only reason why I'm ok with keeping these PX7 S2. If PX8 does drop $200/$300, I'll jump ship back to PX8. As you can tell, I really did love the PX8s but that price is just too crazy.

Peerless Sound and ANC, but Broke After a Week

These headphones are baller for being full wireless and featuring ANC. I usually don't enjoy how headphones these days perform with ANC, bur these ones got me in love. Physical buttons are the best thing ever, proving that not everything must be touch-based. Powering on to bluetooth connection is rapid. They're comfortable, and both light and heavy enough to feel secure and free at the same time. The app could be better, but that doesn't impact this unit's score. They did break in a week, not physically. They just won't turn on and there is no feedback from the earcups or indicator light, and they are charged. Resetting is unsuccessful. It might be perplexing why I'd rate them 4 stars if they broke in a week, but I will believe this pair is an anomaly and I will return them (within store policy) for the same exact set again. Everything else was so perfect that I would still buy these again after breaking from normal, careful use. They feel so solid that this must have been an unlucky pair.

Most comfortable headphones ever and they don’t hurt my ears! They make the music have a lot more depth and the treble and bass is amazing, 10/10 recommend! Also, the battery on these is soo long, I can use it for a short time about 2 weeks or more and they still have battery- they also charge pretty fast

Great ability to control sounds, including noise cancelling. Have only charged once as seems to last quite a while. Because these are over the ear, noise-cancelling, I have needed to acclimate an hour or two at a time to get used to after affects in balance. Comfortable all around, but my ears do get a little bit warm/ sweaty after wearing awhile.

I originally purchased the BOSE 700 UC headphones and hated their lack of true noise cancellation, so I returned them for this pair of headphones, as recommended by an in-store associate. The Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2 headphones are so comfortable, produce great sound, have much better noise cancellation than Bose, and their color is beautiful! I bought these to use primarily for working from home and I’m very happy with my purchase. Good distance capability too as I like to get up and walk around the house or out in the backyard while still attending virtual meetings and trainings.

These are great. I originally was looking at another pair of Beats Studios or AirPods Max and obviously ended up with these. This was a great choice and I’m not disappointed with it. They’re extremely comfortable. I wasn’t happy that they did not collapse but the way the ear cups fold is actually a decent substitute. Downloading the app for extra sound customization is also a great feature. I would definitely recommend these and have no reasonable complaints! I use them for listening to music and watching YouTube videos daily and the battery life also surprised me.

Just my unbiased, non-sponsored, untrained opinion

Just got these and the longer I listen to my music the more excited I get about having these! I feel like trying to describe headphones is like trying to describe why you like a particular kind of soda. Everyone has their own opinions so these are Just my opinions. I’m coming from Apple ecosystem and going to android so I previously used Apple airpod Max as my daily driver. Now I'm using a galaxy s22 Ultra with these PX7 S2s. My use case is primarily phone calls at work and podcasts at night in bed. This is a daily routine day in day out, for me. While I waited for these PX7 S2s to come in I used Beats Solo3’s. They sounded fine with heavy bass but really hurt to wear more than an hour or 2 max. Build Quality: Great. A lot of plastic but no creaking and they don’t feel cheap, rather, they look and feel quite premium. I would have liked more metals being used as I feel that material is a lot more durable but in this case, it seems to be an irrelevant point and probably would have increased the price another $100. Weight doesn’t bother me. Unboxing these was a pleasant experience. Controls: All these buttons were a little intimidating at first but only a couple minutes later I found the buttons to be very intuitive. The buttons are responsive and the textured “middle” button is a welcome reference effect. Answering the calls with the button was a little problematic for me though. I would press the button but I guess I would hold it down too long and inadvertently end up hanging up the call. Frustrating but I just use the phone controls to answer and end calls. No biggy. Sound Quality: I would describe the sound stage as “Clean”. There doesn’t seem to be much bias towards high end or low frequency (bass). The sound is VERY balanced. The bass is very very clean. The bass hits great if the sound source is mastered that way. If your sound source is primarily vocal, you will experience a wonderfully clear experience. The Airpod Max seems to lean toward bass comparatively which I really liked. However, the more I listened with the PX7 S2s the more I started to prefer that sound experience. It took a few minutes but after a few songs I just fell in love with this sound profile. ANC: This is where I feel the PX7 S2s come in short. The Airpod Max blocks out very nearly all exterior sound. The PX7 S2s would be more described as “adequate”. The good news is the sound cancellation doesn’t hiss. There is some difference heard in the noise reduction but not nearly as much as I would have expected at this point. But they’ll work just fine for my purposes. Phone calling: They sound fine. There’s no environmental noise filtering which is a bummer but I haven’t found any headphones that does that effectively anyway so it is what it is. People on the other end of the line indicate that I sound fine and clear so that’s what counts for me since I’m in a quiet home office anyway. If I was in a noisy environment I would probably have to find a different headset more suited to that. I’m sticking with these as what I care about is excellent and all the cons are insignificant enough for my use case that I don’t feel like flipping headphones 4 or 5 times to find that perfect pair. These are fantastic and I feel are worth the clams you have to give up to get 'em.

I bought these headphones as an upgrade to the original PX7's which are really good. The new PX7 S2's are much better, especially in the mid-range and with more clarity overall. With angled drivers, the soundstage is superb, defining the location of each musician/singer as if I was in the studio listening in person. They are a bit lighter than the PX7's and still very comfortable after multiple hours of use.

These are awesome, have great sound quality and tone, easy to switch to different devices. The most comfortable headphones I have had, soft cushions and easily adjustable. Simple functions: can take them off one ear and they pause what you are listening to so you can respond to someone and put them back on and it reconnects. Awesome.

These are great for the plane and they don't look like the same old Bose or Beats that every one wears. I also have a pair of Klipsch T5 in ear; they serve a purpose but the Bowers and Wilkins are much more comfortable and the sound is superior (yes I know over the ear and in ear sound different). Great product.

I had purchased the Sony XM4 and returned them. The sound cancelling on those is excellent. But I did not like sound quality. I was coming from Oppo planar magnetic headphones and knew there would be a step down. But the convivence of wireless meant was a fair tradeoff. I was really disappointed with the sound quality though. The Px7 sound fantastic. Not as good as the Oppos but closer than expected and much better than Sony. As many reviewers have said, what do you value more? Higher sound quality with ok noise cancelling and features (more controls in app) or better noise cancelling with ok sound quality. The bass is more true to the music where the sony's are a bit more bass forward (in my limited listening). Bass heads looking for more presence there may want to look elsewhere. But best advice is try if you can. The other plus is these look so much better, more solid and less plastic looking. But again, that is user preference to some degree.

Just let me start out with the fact that these produce richer sound than Sony or Bose. Truly amazing sound reproduction and im not hooked up to any hifi apps yet. These things are impressive to say the least, and I came from Sony XM5s. The first pair i bought would keep dropping bluetooth playback, swapped them out, no further issues yet. They only have one problem so far that is design based. The earcups dont hold that well around the ears, so very small adjustments to head orientation will bleed sound through the noise canceling. This is only really noticible with low level audio volume with inconsistent sound playback, like podcasts. Not for running. Kicking back and chilling with some tunes, though, these annihilate. The app is pretty slow, too. Takes forever to detect the phones. Sometimes just closes after starting. Not annoying enough to settle for lesser sound quality. Cant wait for spotify to get off their hands and release their HIFI version.
