Just picked up the P7 wireless at my local Best Buy. Pairing up with iphone, ipad and Apple TV was almost instant. They sound amazing. There are so many subtleties you pick up on previously heard songs that I can't wait to break them in, as I've read that they improve after 50 hours of playing. I presently have the Bose QC15 which, up to today, were the best headphones I ever had. Not anymore. The sound difference is immense. I look forward to trying these on a plane, to see if their passive noise cancelling is relatively close to the Bose ANC (which are the best I've ever tried). They are definitely expensive, but the sound is unreal...which is even harder to believe when considering I'm listening to them wirelessly. B&W hit a home run here. Hopefully they'll last a while, because this early Xmas gift will probably ruin all other headphones for me now.

    Shocking Sound

I just want to preface this review with the fact that I have always been a firm believer that the only way to get a quality sound was through a wired connection. I previously had the wired version of the P7's and still have an open back pair of Grado RS2E's for at home listening. All that aside, these headphones are absolutely amazing. I was shocked at how open, how clear, and how deep the sound is in these over a BLUETOOTH connection. Bowers & Wilkins has once again outdone themselves. I've been listening for several hours now and I can barely tell these are even on my head. The plush leather memory foam ear pads are incredibly comfortably and the headband cushions any weight. The sound quality is superb. Everything from the latest electronic music with thumping baselines to emotional orchestral pieces absolutely shines on these headphones. They're incredibly well balanced. When compared to their previous wired versions, the bass isn't nearly as heavy so it doesn't ever overwhelm like the older version had a tendency to do. These are hands down the best close-backed headphones I have ever owned and they're BLUETOOTH which is just shocking. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for serious sound without sacrificing mobility.

Worth the money and break in time.

I did a great deal of research before pulling the trigger on these. $425 w/tax is not chicken feed so I wanted to be sure it was worth it. It came down to between the bose quietcomfort 35 and these. Build, sound quality, and style of the B&Ws were far superior to the Bose and worth the extra $100. Some reviewers commented on the tight fit which I also found to be true, however, after a week of wearing these for up to 6 hours a day, I have found the fit to be quite comfortable. Other reviewers also mentioned a break-in period of 100 hours. I have not reached that yet but if the sonic quality improves even just a little bit I will still be quite happy with the purchase. I have certainly heard new aspects of music with which I was quite familiar and the additional membership to the Society of Sound and the free FLAC downloads are a great way to put these cans through their paces.

worked for 2 days, then will not stay paired for more than 2 mins. on top of that the worst customer service... they close at 3pm PT. and will not respond to emails... with the exception of their passive speakers, everything I've bought from this co has been defective.
