Great machine with questionable reliability

I regularly use it three times a week. Bought a used M5 to try. Got hooked on the great workout but control panel gave out after less than a year. Couldnt find replacement parts anywhere so I bought a new M9. Sadly the resistance controls on the new M9 just died after 10 months. Ouch, this is getting pretty expensive! Love the machine, Too bad Bowflex Max Trainers seems to have reliability issues. Maybe its time to try another brand?

horrible customer service

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought my initial max trainer in 2020 - worked great at first but then broke - was given this as a replacement in 2023 - initially worked as well although now the gears have broken and the machine became unusable. I contacted Best Buy as I have the total protection plan and was told they can't do an in home repair (even though they have previously done this) nor can they exchange it as it is still under the factory warranty so I'll have to wait to exchange it until the warranty expires. Wouldn't recommend as this is the second one that has broken with light to moderate use. Would also strongly recommend against purchasing the total tech plan as they don't appear to actually be able to help with anything.

Great work out
