Phone holder works as advertised

The mag strips they gave me to put on my phone would not hold and came off now matter how well I prepped the phone surface. The design with the holding clips work much better and it does charge the phone when mounted. My only complaint was my phone barely fit within the holding clips when I put my slim case on it. I have to rotate the holder sideways to get my phone out so it won't hit the windshield. If the holder is turned vertical, my phone hits the windshield before I can slide it out.

The auction is really good, securing it to the windshield very snug. I have used it with both iPhone and Android phones and it works flawlessly. I like the extra built in USB port to allow me to charge another phone at the same time if needed.

I didnt even have to do too much with the cords. I did have to return this particular item be cause it did not link well with my Samsung 8+ I order for it to charge and be used in my car. I'm back to the drawing board.

The overall design comes up a bit short as it's a bit tricky to get the unit to stay secure with the vent mount attachment and I have to take off my very thin phone case so it will charge. Otherwise fairly happy with its function
