I found that not quite true. My Garmin has a cavity on the back, backing it extremely to use with this product. The adhesive included could not do the job. After several different attempts I was finally able to affix the plate to the GPS using Gorilla glue! The bracket does function well.

Solid versatile strong magnetic mount

This one is stuck solid to dash with 3M adhesive and so far so it has held up in hot and cold weather of Dallas area. The magnetic hold is strong compared to others I tried. What I really liked is it can be used with many devices if you slap a metal plate on their back. What I wish was better instructions on mounting and using it.

But my fears were totally irrational...this product is by far the best! I would suggest everyone get this. It makes things faster and safer in your car.

Great sturdy device holder

My only beef is that it doesn't come with extra metal adhesive plates (since my tablet is missing and I'd like to mount a smartphone)

It can swivel and adjust to s position you think glare is less. The adhesive item that comes to it sevurely attached with the built- in magnet. Perfect to mount old or new gps, one size fits all. I would recommend it to my friends definitely.

Holds GPS excellently, easy to install
